Hey, I’m Doug. I’ve had dogs my whole life and can’t imagine it any other way. I’ve owned and loved several different breeds over the years, and right now I share my home with a big, lovable German Shepherd and a 16 year old calico cat who has a lot of sass and attitude. I’m also a dad of two, and while my kids are in school I’m looking to earn some extra income doing something I genuinely enjoy. I love being outside, going on long walks, throwing the ball, and ending the day with plenty of snuggles. I’m very responsible and take pet care seriously, but I also try to keep things easy and fun. I’ll always keep you in the loop with updates and photos so you know your pet is happy, safe, and getting lots of attention. If you’re looking for someone who treats your pets like they’re part of the family, I’d love to help out.

When I’m caring for pets in your home, I try to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. I know how important familiarity is, especially when their people are away. I follow your instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medication, litter box care, playtime, and any little quirks your pet might have. I always make sure your home is left just as I found it. Food and water areas stay clean, litter boxes are scooped, and I do a quick check to make sure everything looks safe and secure before I leave. I also spend time with your pet based on what they’re comfortable with, whether that’s playtime, gentle attention, or just calm company. I’ll keep you updated with notes and photos so you know how things are going and can feel at ease while you’re away. My goal is for you to feel confident that both your pet and your home are being well cared for.

Doug took great care of both our dog and our cat while we were away, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He was reliable, easy to communicate with, and clearly comfortable handling different personalities. He sent updates and photos that really put us at ease. When we got home, both pets were relaxed and happy, which is the biggest compliment you can give a pet sitter. We’ll absolutely be reaching out to Doug again.
Doug was amazing with our lab two dogs. From the first visit it was obvious he really knows what he’s doing and genuinely cares. He kept us updated with photos and quick messages, which made being away so much easier. Our dogs absolutely loved him and were calm and happy when we got home, which says ALOT. We would not hesitate to book with Doug again and honestly feel lucky to have found him!!

Schedule
I’m primarily available on weekdays between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm, which lines up well with mid day check ins, drop ins, and visits while you’re at work. I’m also available some evenings, depending on the day. I can probably work with your schedule, just message me! I’m a parent of two, so I focus on providing reliable care during school hours and select evenings when I can give your pet my full attention.
