Nobody adores dogs more than I do
For 15 wonderful years, my family and I had an adorable Westie girl named Cricket, who was a fixture in my neighborhood. Thanks to her, I've become a fixture as well. I work from home, which means I'll be with your dog most of the day. I live only one block from one of Manhattan's best dog runs, near 72 St in Riverside Park. Your dog will get at least three walks a day, plenty of exercise, and opportunities for socialization. Your dog's health, happiness, and safety are my number one priority. He or she will receive my undivided attention. I will care for two dogs from the same owner. Day rate is per dog. If you're a new client, I'll need to meet you and your dog first.

My dog, Dexter, had an excellent 5 days with Doug! Dexter came home very happy, and it was clear throughout my time away that Doug gave Dexter lots of attention and care. Doug was very communicative before and during our trip. It was very comforting to travel knowing Dexter was in excellent hands! Doug was also very patient and kind when Dexter had some anxiety and trouble sleeping in a new place on the first night, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend Doug!
I have never seen Buddy as relaxed with any sitter as he is with Douglas. Also, Douglas is sensitive to Buddy’s schedule, needs, and requests. They seem to “get” each other. Douglas is also good at keeping in touch me with me throughout my trips to update me on how Buddy is doing. Douglas has been the sitter Buddy is happiest with of anybody he has ever had.
Doug really loves dogs and took great care of Rufus. He sent updates and professional-level photos, which was a huge relief for a nervous mom like me. It was wonderful knowing Rufus was happy and safe.
Doug always gives my Emma extra care and love.
