I have an acre of land on a dead end street with a fenced back yard and plenty of room to play. I have a very loving neutered 7 year old lab mix that enjoys playing with other dogs and lives in the home cage free but I welcome cage trained dogs.

A typical day
Playtime to start the day and release some energy. Occasional trips to a nearby pond or parks to walk around and get the senses going and exercise. Rest and cuddles as needed.

I have loved, raised, trained, and boarded friends and family dogs for over 30 years. My background is healthcare but my first love has always been working with animals. I have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages and sizes as well as handling multiple dogs. I have administered medications, provided feeding, bathing and lots of exercise.

Douglas was super understanding when our flight plans changed due to weather. Our dog is very happy, and we appreciated the photo updates. The house is great for dogs with a big lot, and Douglas is an attentive sitter.

Douglas has a great place and yard for our Wednesday to stay and play. He sent pictures multiple times of her just chilling and having a great time with his dog as well.
Doug is amazing! Frankie feels at home every time and can’t wait to go back. She always comes home happy and exhausted from all the play time.
