Availability
I usually work from 6-2:30, five days/week, but not a set schedule every week. I certainly don't mind getting up a little earlier in the a.m., if need be, to tend to your pet(s).

I tend to be low maintenance and believe my cats are as well. I keep up with their routine appointments and monitor their general health. My one cat I mentioned with the anxiety, gated off in another room, has plenty of toys, cat-beds (at various heights), and scratching pads and so on. My oldest keeps getting her medication 2x/day and still has the energy of a two-year old. The youngest tends to very chill and is a completely un-shy, social butterfly whenever I have company.
Information Doug C. would like to know about your pet
I have previously hired sitters from this site, and know if I were to have any instructions outside of what I suppose would already be written down, I can always text or call. Of course, I would expect you to tell me about important health needs and schedules, and upon initially meeting you and your pet(s) their habits and general personality, as well as provide a contact number for their veterinarian.
A typical day
My cats have a great life. I entertain and/or show them at least 15 minutes worth of attention every day. My oldest, as you can tell by the picture, likes to jump on my shoulders and hang out up there while I do household chores and such. I've never not gotten along with a dog. Whatever his or her preferences are for entertainment, I always make sures/he gets their full supply until they feel like calling it quits. :)

Pet care experience
I am 100% attentive and responsible. My grandfather was the director of a local MSPCA shelter in Brockton, MA. When my mother was little, every time someone would come to adopt she'd cry because she believed all of the animals at the shelter belonged to her. Both of my parents had huge hearts, and so I and my five siblings always had dogs and cats (as well as other smaller varieties) growing up. And of course, we continue to have pets of our own. I am both a dog and cat person, yet currently have three cats. The oldest is 14¾ and has a hyperthyroid condition which requires medication twice per day. The other two were strays, I’m guessing 11 & 8 yo, respectively. The older of the two I learned has severe anxiety around other cats and so has to be gated off in the bedroom. She is super sweet and has been content with this arrangement all these years.

Reviews
Was the most observant and caring person for animals I have ever seen. His daily comments were at least a paragraph long and let me know my pet was doing well. Sent many pictures and played and took care and feed my pet daily.
Doug took phenomenal care of our two cats during a two week vacation. Doug was very thorough in his check-ins including leaving detailed review of each visit with lots of pictures and fun stories! We felt extremely comfortable knowing Doug was providing excellent care for our precious kitties. Would highly highly recommend Doug’s services!

Doug did a great job taking care of my cats and provided details notes of their care each visit. I felt assured knowing he was there to check on them.

Doug has been our go-to guy since we moved here over 2 years ago. We travel frequently, and Doug is always there to help care for our cat. She a grumpy senior cat who is quite picky with people and the way she comes to the door purring hard every time Doug arrives is very telling of their bond. Doug is kind, responsive, trustworthy, and we are always so grateful for his help.
