Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets in my home by making sure they're well-fed, comfortable, and happy. This includes play time with toys, treats, and of course walks and/or time in the backyard

Information Doug A. would like to know about your pet

I don't have any preferences as far as breeds go. The 2 main things I would like to know about your dog before hosting them are: Is your dog playful and friendly with other dogs of various gender and sizes? And what kind of destructive tendencies do they have? (if any) This is so I can make sure I'm as ready as possible to care for your dog, and avoid reinforcing any bad habits. Dogs have personalities just like humans and all of them deserve love and affection!

A typical day

I will take your dog on a 30-45 minute walk around the neighborhood and maybe to the park or a dog park. We'll get our steps in and have plenty of stops for bathroom breaks! I'm I'm house sitting I'll follow your routine to a T and make sure it's business/play as usual!

Pet care experience

Let me care for your pup like he or she was my own :) I have been taking care of neighbors' dogs for years and have provided hours of volunteer service at animal shelters. I would love to take care of your furry friend! If your dog has any special needs, I can help administer: -Special diets -Meds -Exercise regiments Please feel free to contact me with any questions about my services, or to schedule a doggie meet and greet Why I love dog sitting I've been a dog lover since I was a kid. Although I didn't grow up with a dog in the house, I always gravitated toward my neighbors' and friends' dogs and cared many of them during vacations. My love for dogs led me to volunteer service at animal shelters during my free time. I would play with them, take them for walks and talk to people about adoption. Thoroughly rewarding experience and helped me get my fix for dogs! When I finally adopted my dog Prima, happiness ensued. My pup is sincerely my best friend and we hang out together all the time. Yet, I still have a hankerin for more dogs! More furry guys running around my house, please! While I'm not ready to adopt another dog yet, I see Rover.com as a great service allowing me to interact with dogs and provide the care I know is vital to each dogs' parents! My experience administering medication Sure! Just tell me the schedule and the best way to get your dog to take their meds. I'm happy to help keep your dog healthy and
