I’ve loved dogs my whole life and have been a proud rescue mom to many dogs over the years. I presently have a rescue golden who is 10 years old who loves walking and exploring. Working from home means I’m always around for belly rubs, walks, and playtime—and with 30 acres of forest in my backyard, your pup will have plenty of space to sniff, explore, and enjoy the great outdoors!

Izzy was a happy girl when we picked her up, definitely well cared for and loved. Dorothy sent us a picture and a note letting us know everything was good, Izzy was enjoying her get away. We will definitely bring our dog to Dorothy again should we need doggie overnight stay, and refer her to anyone who needs it. Fantastic!

Dogs in our home are treated like family. They have full run of our cozy two-story house and lots of room to play outside. While our yard isn’t fenced, we’re well off the road with plenty of open lawn and forest space for safe, supervised fun. Pups without a reliable recall stay on leash to keep everyone safe while still enjoying the great outdoors.

A typical day
I love to go on walks through the neighbourhood and in the woods in my backyard. Your dog will love all the new things to smell and explore. I’m also close to a school yard with a large open yard we can play an epic game of fetch!
