Pet care is our full-time passion and a total family affair! Because my daughters and I manage our schedule together, someone is almost always home to provide love, supervision, and companionship. Our days are naturally structured around pet care—from morning yard play and neighborhood walks to afternoon cat snuggles and evening wind-down time. Your pet will seamlessly blend into our daily routine and never be short on attention or affection.

A typical day is packed with fun, tailored to your pet's energy level! We start with morning potty breaks and breakfast, followed by exciting zoomies and fetch in our big, fenced yard. If your dog loves to socialize, they will have a blast playing with our 5-month-old puppy. Throughout the day, we take neighborhood walks, play with puzzle toys, and enjoy plenty of couch snuggles. Cats get specialized playtime with feather wands, laser pointers, and all the chin scratches they desire!

Hi! I'm Dorothy. I've always loved animals, but I've definitely become a cat person over the years. I love getting to know each cat's personality and letting them warm up to me at their own pace. Some want to play, some want to chat, and some are happiest just having a quiet person nearby—and I'm happy with all of the above. I also enjoy dog walks and drop-in visits. Spending time with animals is one of my favorite ways to unwind after work, and I love getting outside with an excited pup. Pet sitting has become a family business for us. My two teenage daughters work with me, and I love that we've been able to build something together. My oldest is 17 and has her own repeat clients, and my youngest is 15 and helps with visits and walks. Depending on schedules, you may meet one of them too. We all genuinely enjoy caring for animals, and I wouldn't trust just anyone with my clients' pets. This year we said goodbye to my sweet Shih Tzu, Gizmo, and I still think about him often. These days our house is ruled by six cats (ranging from kittens to seniors) and my youngest daughter's adorable Shih Tzu puppy, who keeps us all entertained. While I still offer boarding occasionally if it's the right fit, these days I mostly focus on cat visits, dog walks, and drop-in care. Thanks for stopping by my profile. We have an older dog that can be a little difficult. She doesn't really want to make new friends. Dorthy did a great job taking care of her and making sure she received her medications. Highly recommend.
The BEST sitter in the area!
Dorothy was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our dogs while we were away and gave us complete peace of mind. She sent plenty of pictures and thoughtful updates throughout our trip, which we really appreciated. It was obvious our dogs were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We came home to two very happy pups, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. We would absolutely book Dorothy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and reliable! 🐾❤️
