I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I currently have nine cats, both indoor and outdoor, and have raised Old English Bulldogs and German Shepherds. I grew up around larger animals as well, including horses and cattle, so I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and personalities. I’m also familiar with veterinary medicine and animal health, and I’m fortunate to have a certified veterinarian in my family who has given me additional insight into quality animal care. I understand that every pet has different needs, and I’m committed to providing them with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own animals.

Safety, trust & environment
I’m happy to provide drop-in visits to give your pets some mid-day attention, companionship, and relief while you’re away. I’m comfortable walking your pets, feeding them according to your specific instructions, refreshing water, cleaning up after them, and administering medications when provided with clear instructions. Every pet and household is different, so if you have a particular routine or request, please feel free to ask. I will most likely be able to accommodate it! I do not provide overnight stays, and I do not board other pets in my home because I have cats of my own.

Dorothea is absolutely qualified to provide pet sitting services. She has taken care of my own cat multiple times and always goes above and beyond. My dog always boards when we travel for health issues, but she visits us frequently and has a great rapport with him. She has multiple cats of her own and has cared for cats and dogs she found on the street, and helped them find a safe place and gotten them medical attention if needed. I am a helicopter pet mom and I feel extremely comfortable leaving my animals in her care.
Thea has helped care for my kitties multiple times and has always provided the best care. She asks necessary questions to ensure she provides the appropriate love and attention for each of my 2 cats. Both of my kitties were warm and welcoming to her and she always provides daily updates for each of her visits. 10/10 recommend.

Schedule
I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week and on weekends, so pet care can easily fit into my routine. I’m happy to work around your schedule and your pet’s needs, whether that means drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, walks, or other in-home care. I can most likely accommodate the schedule that works best for you and your pets!
