Dorothea encapsulates everything you could possibly want from a sitter. She’s responsible, pays attention to detail, communicates wonderfully, and has a genuine knack for creating a safe and affectionate atmosphere for pets. Dorothea was BEYOND incredible. She went above and beyond caring for my sweet pup. She is a great communicator, has a gentle presence, and is an overall super special person. My little Kona was super calm and relaxed upon my arrival, which isn’t always the case. I’m so happy I found her!

Schedule
Pet care fits best anytime of the week. I work from home as a virtual assistant and part time concierge work when needed. My schedule is flexible and I always have access to home throughout the day.

I have a enclosed running area, a friendly house dog named Toby who is the ultimate comforter. If cages sre needed I can provide cage space as well.

A typical day
The unique activity I do before any outdoor trip is meditation for dogs. I simply roll out my yoga mat and do comforting exercises and breathing exercises. Most of the time, the dofs will come and sit by me, close their eyes and become relaxed. Dori’s World Dogs all recieve back and spine massages to naturally realign their spine. Resuces stress and it helps with obedience training as well. Our walks include Rock Creek Park paths, 16th st to Adams Morgan.
