Yes it’s Dori’s World! It has been an amazing journey caring for animals since the creation of our universe ( wink wink). 15+ years of service caring for dogs if all kinds. German Shepherds, Collie’s, Dobermans, terrier mixes, and felines and munchkins. I specialize in exotic pets such as gerbils, guinea pigs, rats, birds, ferrets.. 😃 Since joining Rover it truly has been an awesome experience boarding, Full Time Sitter

Dorothea is fantastic. So grateful that she was available on short notice to watch my dog Lola while I was out of town for a wedding. She was extremely responsive and so kind. Will definitely book with her again in the future!
Dorothea was absolutely amazing with my dog Bennie! She was a total lifesaver and confirmed that she could care for Bennie within minutes after my other sitter unexpectedly canceled. She sent pics/videos and regular updates about his stay. She and her dog, Toby are so sweet and I’d love to have her watch Bennie again in the future!
Dorothea was great! Bhag was happy when I picked him up from the day care visit. Would leave him with her again.
Dorothea is lovely and she and her pup are terrific hosts!

Pet care fits best anytime of the week. I work from home as a virtual assistant and part time concierge work when needed. My schedule is flexible and I always have access to home throughout the day.

I have a enclosed running area, a friendly house dog named Toby who is the ultimate comforter. If cages sre needed I can provide cage space as well.

Een typische dag
The unique activity I do before any outdoor trip is meditation for dogs. I simply roll out my yoga mat and do comforting exercises and breathing exercises. Most of the time, the dofs will come and sit by me, close their eyes and become relaxed. Dori’s World Dogs all recieve back and spine massages to naturally realign their spine. Resuces stress and it helps with obedience training as well. Our walks include Rock Creek Park paths, 16th st to Adams Morgan.
