Dorotea is very responsive to Hendrix’s needs. She really figures out what he wants/likes. I always feel secure knowing he is in her excellent care!
This was our first time having Lilly stay with Dorotea and it was a wonderful experience. She was so welcoming and loving to Lilly at first sight and we felt so confident leaving her there. Dorotea sent comments and pictures throughout the visit which we greatly appreciated ❤️. She deserves her 5 star status!
I could not be happier, from the moment we dropped off Louie to all the updates while we were away , we were so happy and at ease that Louie was being so well cared for. I am so happy we found Dorothea and no longer have to stress about going away and leaving the dog. Louie was so loved and cared for I thought he might not want to come home. Thanks again and we will see you soon. ❤️
Hendrix loves Dorotea. He gets so excited when we pull up to her home. She is very patient with him and likes to figure out his quirks. She is a lovely person who has a caring heart for dogs. I highly recommend Dorotea!
Dorothea was great and Ernie loved her! She walked him a few times a day and had him play in her yard which he loved. She also sent us photos and videos daily which we appreciated!
Maple loves Dorotea. And Dorotea sends lots of updates and always lets me know how Maple is doing. Maple is going back next week.

I offer flexible availability, including weekends, and bring warmth, patience, and genuine love to every moment spent with them.

I care for pets in my own home, which is fully fenced and safe — perfect for dogs to relax, play, and feel at ease. I don’t have a dog of my own at the moment; my last companion passed away after 14 wonderful years together. That experience deepened my love and understanding of dogs, and I now bring full attention and affection to every pet I welcome. I offer personalized care, keeping their routines and preferences in mind, whether it’s feeding, playtime, or quiet cuddles. For walks, I choose calm routes and adjust the pace to each dog’s needs. I currently focus on care in my home, always creating a loving, secure environment that feels just like home to them.
A typical day
When I watch pets, I make sure they have a great time! 🐶🐾 I have a fenced yard where they can run around safely and play freely. We’ll enjoy fun outdoor time together, and there are several parks and green spaces nearby that we can explore on walks. Whether it’s sniffing new scents, chasing toys, or just relaxing in the sun, I make sure every moment is full of joy and care!
