I am intuitive and attentive to the animals feelings and needs. I focus on their happiness and well being. I engage constantly, feed them delicious nutrients, exercise them well and try to make our short time as positive as I can. I truly enjoy prioritizing and bonding with them! I have fostered dogs for over a year and have experience with all personalities and breeds. However, I do not work with aggressive or reactive dogs of any size, breed or kind that may not let me touch them, (or has issues, for example perhaps resource guarding) and therefore care for them. That requires special attention I do not offer training nor have the capacity for. For example, if your animal growls or snaps easily, even as a signal.

Dorjee was a great sitter for our dog, Nari. She was very easy to communicate with, was very responsive, and asked questions when she needed clarification. I asked if she could send photo updates and she sent so many, which put me at ease while I was on my trip. Highly recommend Dorjee as a pet sitter.
Dorjee stayed at our house to care for our golden retriever and was wonderful! She sent lots of photos and was very responsive, took perfect care of our dog, and left our house very clean. We would definitely love to have her dog sit again!
Our dog Lola stayed with Dorjee while we were passing through town! She was happy and well cared for. Dorjee really loves animals you can tell!
Our dog was well-cared for by Dorjeen and communication was good while she was with her. Dorjeen sent daily photos and responded all our messages. At pick up, some of our dog’s toys were missing. Doreen located them a couple of days later and we had to return to collect them. A minor problem in what was overall a good experience.

Schedule
My legal name is Dorjee, but my nickname is Astrid. I am a full time student and I take care of pets part-time, but when they’re with me they will be my priority as if they were my own. Lots of outdoor time and playtime. During the academic calender I host one pet at a time. I may have a temporary foster dog, but most likely not simultaneously. During the academic breaks I am available all day. As a result, I may have two dogs at once on breaks, but never more than two. If you would like your pet to be sat alone, please communicate, or if you have any questions or concerns about socialization, feel free to let me know.

I can crate train, but I have experience and am comfortable without. I want the animal to be as comfortable as possible, so they are free to treat my home as their own.
A typical day
9 am morning walk, give water before and food after and repeat once in afternoon and once at night. Walk again twice in the afternoon and once more at 10 pm. We go to the trail behind my condo where there’s nature and space. I work in between walks and play with them. I provide several various kinds of toys for their entertainment and plenty of furniture and dog beds. There’s also treats in enrichment puzzles. Then typically crated to bedtime at 10:30 unless otherwise agreed on.
