I love dogs big and small!
I have owned dogs most of my life - 19 years out of 30, in fact! I've been the proud big sis to four dogs: a cockapoo, a siberian husky, and two poodle mut brothers! They each had very distinct personalities, and I learned how to deal with bouts of aggression, timidness and high energy. I also worked as a professional dog walker for a year, and walked all sorts of dogs. I'm familiar with Presacanarios, boxers, cocker spaniels, huskies, malteses, pugs and chihuahuas. I have also walked and house sat dogs with health issues, like strained hips, obesity and those with old age symptoms. I'm also a big fan of long walks, so if you're dog needs a good workout I'd happily be up for it!

We love Doris!!!
This was our first time using Rover in several years and since moving back to NYC from another state. We engaged Doris to stop by our apartment to walk our two large dogs in the middle of a weekday when we both had to be out of town and it sounds like everything went great. One of our dogs, Molly, can be very shy and skittish, so we left Doris detailed instructions about how to deal with her. Doris gave us specific feedback about how Molly did with her (quite well, as it turned out), which made us feel more comfortable about the next time we will need to employ someone to help with the dogs.
As always, so happy to have Doris as our walker!
