Availability
I have a flexible schedule, so your dog will have plenty of attention throughout the day. Gary and Gilbert, my two Shih Tzus, are let out every 1–2 hours for supervised time in the fenced backyard, and your dog will enjoy the same care. If your pup has extra energy, they’re welcome to join me for an evening walk, which I typically take for about an hour. If I need to step out for errands or the gym, there is always someone home to ensure your dog is never left alone.

PLEASE READ Meet & greets are scheduled prior to boarding and serve as a 15-minute appointment to tour where your dog will be staying. Please bring your dog along for this meeting. While meet & greets are not required for walks, they’re always welcome, and we can meet at your address. If your dog has any unwanted behaviors, please let me know in advance so I can best care for them during our time together. For everyone’s safety, your dog must not be aggressive toward other dogs or people. When dropping your dog off for boarding, please bring their food, leash, and harness. You’re welcome to pack additional items like treats, bowls, toys, beds, blankets, or a crate if your dog uses one. These items will help ensure your dog feels comfortable and at home during their stay.
A typical day
At home, I like to keep the dogs engaged with fun and enriching activities. Gary and Gilbert enjoy puzzles, lick mats, and other mentally stimulating games, and I often include our guest dogs in the fun. These activities not only provide mental stimulation but also help reduce anxiety and create a calming environment. Some favorites include frozen, dog-approved bone broth or homemade Greek yogurt with blueberries and bananas. If your dog has food allergies or dietary restrictions, you’re welcome to provide their favorite treats and toys for tailored enrichment. There’s plenty of playtime in the backyard, and I ensure every dog feels comfortable and entertained in a relaxed, homey setting.

Pet care experience
I’m a dog lover and have two Shih Tzus, Gary and Gilbert. Gary is friendly and loves meeting new friends, while Gilbert is full of wiggles and adores his brother. I've adopted and cared for several senior dogs in the past, ensuring they lived long, happy lives, and I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Walking has become an essential part of my routine, thanks to Gary and Gilbert, who prefer lounging to being active. My home is pet-friendly with a large, fenced backyard, and I love photography, so you can expect plenty of pictures and updates
