I grew up with a dog I cared for from puppyhood through his senior years, so my experience comes from real, day-to-day commitment. I handled everything from regular walks and playtime to more delicate care as he aged. When he developed hip dysplasia, I even created a custom wheelchair for him and adapted our routine to keep him comfortable, safe, and happy. Because of that, I’m very attentive, patient, and confident supporting both energetic pups and senior dogs who need extra understanding. I treat every pet with the same love and respect I gave him.

When I care for pets in a client's home, I focus on keeping their routine steady so they feel safe and comfortable. I follow your instructions closely, including feeding times, walks, playtime and any specific needs your pet may have. I stay attentive to their mood and behavior to make sure they are relaxed and well cared for. I am also very mindful of your home. I keep everything tidy, check that doors and gates are secure and make sure your space is respected. I send regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My priority is creating a calm, trusting and caring environment for your pet while you are away.

Doris was wonderful! I’m so glad she was able to take care of my girls last minute. I got updates on all of my girls throughout the day. I’m so appreciative for her not only taking us on last minute but also while one of my girls is trying to recover from an upset stomach and requires a little more TLC. She’s one of the first sitters I’ve used using Rover, & the first time my pets were taken care of by someone other than friends and family and it was a great experience for us. I will definitely be reaching out to Doris again when I need a pet sitter.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine. I am active every day and I love going on walks and runs, so giving pets their daily exercise is something I truly enjoy. When I am at home relaxing with a book, I am happy to brush them, play with them, and make sure their routines and needs are fully taken care of. I genuinely love having animals as part of my day.
