I'm currently looking for a full time job and am doing more sporadic gig jobs in the meantime, so my schedule is usually pretty open so long as I'm booked far enough in advance.

With all pets I would just like to know what the specifics are for each animal before dealing with them. Pets are just as idiosyncratic as people, and they all have their do's and don'ts, their yums and yucks. So just a quick little download of information will really help me and your pet be able to bond the quickest. If you happen to be there the first time I arrive, that would definitely be a bonus, and always seems to help with a pets trust :).
Information Dorian N. would like to know about your pet
I mean, I think you know this better than me. Generally it's nice to know if I'm bringing them in public what their general personality is like out there, and especially any glaring problems. Some dogs are better with people but not great with other dogs, some dogs are the exact opposite, and we all know a dog who doesn't trust bearded men (I may not be your best option here). Would love to give little reports about what I see, especially related to the little concerns you have and my observations about them if they come up.
A typical day
Well just like humans, pets have their preference when it comes to activities. While I'm a fan of catch and tag, I'm always down for a tug o war or just letting your pup be a pup with other pups and not have the parental closeness that makes them look like a nerd to their dog friends. On the kitty end of things, who doesn't love strings? No cat, that's who. But if your cat just wants to stare at me with general suspicion I can handle that rejection too, and I have faith I'll eventually win them over.

Pet care experience
I've been around pets nearly my whole life. Some were my own (two cats, and a dog), many were roommates', some were on farms I've lived at. Through those experiences I've felt like many a pets' fun uncle. I've walked dogs that are muscular and energetic, but I've also walked dogs that are skiddish and anxious. Many dogs can present a bit of a challenge, but once you try to understand them it really helps you fall into their flow. I find it's very important to let a dog get as much mental stimulation (smelling all the smells) as it is for them to move their bodies. Walks can often be the one thing that breaks up a dog's day so I think they're very important outside of the necessity of them. Cats seem to really like me because I don't feel the need to quickly pick them up, and I like to get on their level to address them. I love playing with cats and letting their inner little tiger come out.
Reviews

Dorian was great and easy to work with. Very flexible about meet up times. He gave great updates with pictures and comments while we were away and left the house in good condition when we returned. Our pets all seemed calm and well cared for on our return, no post trip friction to work through. Bonus he even fixed an issue we had been having with our projector! Will definitely think of Dorian when it comes to our next trip.

Dorian did a great job caring for my home and cat. I appreciated his communication and felt confident my cat was in good hands.

Dorian’s the best! He’s very communicative, easy-going, and gave my dog lots of love. We’d be very happy to have him back any time.

Dorian stayed with our hound for 6 nights and it seems like they had a great time. Dorian was very communicative and asked great questions in preparing to stay for Gus. We really appreciated his thoroughness and keeping in touch with us. We hope he’ll stay with Gus again.
