My love for dogs began early on as we always had at least one dog growing up. I began to care for other people’s dogs while in college and within the past few years. In between that time, I raised two dogs, both of whom lived over 15 years. Most recently, I cared for a dog with diabetes. I learned how to administer two injections per day and monitor her. A year ago, I watched two dogs for two months in their home. I bathed them, took them to the groomers, played with them and walked them daily. I also took care of the homeowners home: paid bills, cleaned, fed fish and took care of fish ponds and watered outside plants and gardens. Time spent with dogs is truly a joy for me. People that entrust their dog to my care know I will love and care for them as if they were my own.
