About Donnie W.
Safety, trust & environment
Pets need a safe and secure environment. I think part of what makes a situation safe for pets is familiarity and therefore always suggest the least amount of disruption to their normal schedule, which is typically within their own households. It’s important to understand your pets’ typical detailed routine and work to drive similar consistency during care. I’m open to other arrangements based on your individual needs.
Information Donnie W. would like to know about your pet
It’s always helpful to know as much as possible about your pet before our first session together. If your pet has any specific health needs or allergies, if they are shy or anxious in certain situations, and/or if there’s situations that would make them uncomfortable or agitated. I like to keep them aligned with their typical routines in comfortable familiar settings. I look forward to hearing more about your pet and any needs they may have.
A typical day
I love working with pets to keep them mentally and physically engaged. Depending on what your pet is capable of doing, I’m always looking forward to walks, jogs, time at the park or backyard, playing with their favorite ball or frisbee. I’m happy to discuss your pets individual needs and sources of enjoyment.

Pet Lover & Native Nature Steward
Pet care experience
Experienced with dogs, cats, and everything in between. I miss my German Shepherd that passed a few years ago and thought caring for other people’s pet might be a fun alternative. As a Native American and proud steward of nature, my connection to animals runs deep — it’s not just what I do, it’s part of who I am. From raising puppies with positive-reinforcement training to providing loving end-of-life care for a senior dog, I bring patience, experience, and genuine devotion to every animal in my care. I’m also a quick learner and happy to follow any specific routines or preferences you have for your pet. Over the years I’ve worked with an unusually wide range of animals, including chickens, horses, cows, reptiles, sugar gliders, and even wildlife like squirrels, raccoons, and whitetail deer. Whatever your pet needs, chances are I’ve been there.
Reviews
Don helped take care of my two golden labs. He stayed at my house while we traveled and kept everything neat and tidy. He sent me lots of photos! The girls were in good spirits when I got home.
