I’m currently pretty open schedule wise. My favourite walks are during the day including mornings if needed. I’m a homeschooling Mama and build my own schedule because of that.

I have a yard where we can enjoy a leashed hang out. Our bunny Bean is in a cage in the house but gets let out at set times during the day. Should this interfere with your visiting pet’s needs we can easily give Bean a room with a closed door to run around separately.

A typical day
I love a good nature walk so we’ll likely walk by the river or find a small forest hike nearby. If they like to run I may jog alongside for a bit. If they like to sniff, I’ll slowly stroll. I’m interested in your pets characteristics and will meet them accordingly.

Pet care experience
I’ve had pets of all kinds since I was a child including dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, bunnies and even lizards. Through University I was even a single dog Mom which kept me out of a lot of trouble and taught me more about the healing gifts of animals. I currently do not have a dog so I’m hoping to fill the gap by taking care of others. I’ve recently taken a number of dog training courses including puppy training and would be happy to share what I’ve learned should your fur baby need it. I am a Mom to two children (8 & 1 years old) and a Holland lop bunny named Bean Pudding who we’ve trained to play tag. We are active and deeply respectful towards all animals and nature as a whole. I’d be honoured to walk your dog. Most walks I’ll have my youngest strapped to my back to enjoy the fresh air as well.

I had a wonderful experience with Donna-not only was she flexible on timing and checked in to confirm things often-she also sent me lots of pics and commentary during the stay of our two Yorkies. I will definitely use her again!!!
Donna was great. She was patient and helpful in helping me straighten out some scheduling issues I had. She was good with our pup, showed up on time, took for a nice walk and visited with him. Would recommend
Donna (and her wonderful family) was the absolute best for Nova! Nova had a great time, was even well brushed when we picked her up. Donna kept us posted about Nova her adventures and send us regular pictures. You can tell Donna knows how to handle dogs and let them feel at home. Would definitely book again!
