I am currently a stay at home mum, so I am free all day to walk and look after doggies needs. I have 3 children who are all at school during the day. Our last pet died recently so it would be lovely to have a pet in the home and take care of them for you. It is very important that any dog I look after is used to children as I have a 5, 7 and 11 year old.

We live in a 4 bedroomed house, have a secure back garden and live close to a nature reserve and marina so lots of places to go walking right on the doorstep. I provide a loving and caring environment, animals will be given lots of affection and all their needs met.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs or requirements and I will do my best to make sure their needs are met. Please let me know a little bit about your dog ahead of time e.g. if they are timid, good with other dogs etc.
A typical day
I am happy to taylor walks and days around your pets individual needs. I can do short regular slow paced walks for an older dog or big walks for high energy dogs with lots of playtime and a relaxed home environment to come back and chill.

I have had dogs since I was 7, and looked after the family dogs when my parents were on holiday since I was 15, walking, feeding and the occasional bath! I have had a Golden Retriever, Bearded Collie and a Jack Russell/Yorkshire terrior/Cairn mix as pets in the past. Myself and my partner both dog sat for a family member in the past looking after their Lurcher. I also see my sisters dog, a cockapoo.

Coco stayed with Donna and family for two days of day care this week. She was very quick to respond to messages and told me all I needed to know beforehand. Coco literally pulled us to Donna’s door when we arrived for the second day! After collecting Coco she is relaxed and happy so has clearly had just the right amount of exercise and must have felt secure and comfortable during her stay. I would definitely recommend Donna and hope that she and the children will have Coco to stay again in the near future!

Donna looked after my 5 month old Jackapoo Ziggy for 8 days. She sent me regular updates and pictures and took very good care of my dog. I would highly recommend Donna as a dog sitter. ?
Donna is honest, reliable and trustworthy. She has been around dogs and other animals most of he life. As a result we had no hesitation leave our own dog with her whilst we were away for holidays etc. There is no doubt our dog was very happy and well cared for whilst we were away.
