I work as a second grade teacher during the year, so I am available during the summers and school breaks to take care of your fur babies. My school days end at 3:30, so I can also have a dinner date with your dog or cat if needed! Weekends during the school year are also an option!

I currently have 2 large dogs of my own. Koda is a 6 yo Newfoundland I have raised from a pup. Samson, is an 8ish yo black Lab I rescued from Ohio. I had an English Mastiff, Trinity, for 11 years that recently passed, and I miss terribly. I crate train all my dogs in addition to basic obedience. They have a one acre yard to exercise in as well as regular walks. My dogs are all current on their vaccinations and receive regular grooming. All are in good health, living very spoiled, happy lives!

A typical day
Whether high energy or a couch potato, play is something all dogs love and so do I. Toys, puzzles frisbee and fetch are a daily activity I incorporate for my dogs. Exercising dogs with a walk or a car trip out of the house are good for socialization and interacting with new sights, sounds and smells to engage the mind. Cuddle time is guaranteed!

Hi! My name is Donna and I have always loved animals of all types, but especially dogs! I’ve never lived a day on this earth without a dog by my side. I have been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember. My experience with dogs includes general care, training, puppy and senior care, grooming, nail trimming, and giving minor medical attention. I have interacted with or owned numerous dog breeds from toy to giant. My passion for dogs has been lifelong, driving me to learn all that I could about them over the years. I understand dog behaviors and how to interpret and deal with them. While my 40 years of experience is important, so too, is my deep love for this noble creature. 💕

Donna was great AGAIN with Theo. Always takes care of our boy. Communication is always top notch. She always makes him a priority and he’s always happy to see her. We will definitely be using her again.

What can I say….Well I’ll say Donna was awesome. We did 3 days of visits with her for our boy Theo. She took care of him with her utmost care. Pottie breaks, walks, feeding, and playtime. When we Theo needs a sitter, Donna gets our call hands down. Will definitely use her again and will recommend her. Thanks
Donna was exceptional with Banjo and very patient with him! Banjo didn't want to potty right away for her but she took it upon herself to take him for a brief walk around the neighborhood to make sure he did his business. Donna even took the time to play tug-o-war with him to expend some of his energy while we were away. We can’t say enough great things about Donna. 10 out 10! :-)
