Experienced Dog Owner & Walker
Hi, I'm Donna, a lifelong dog lover with over 15 years of experience owning and caring for dogs and other pets. Friends and family regularly trust me to look after their dogs when they go away, so I have experience caring for dogs with different personalities, sizes and exercise needs. I currently have a 5-year-old neutered Cocker Spaniel called Brodie. He is a loving, friendly and well-socialised dog who enjoys having other dogs around. He has a very calm temperament, is well behaved, doesn't chase wildlife and is happily relaxed around cats. Dogs staying with me become part of the family and receive plenty of love, attention and exercise. I provide multiple walks every day, as well as lots of playtime, enrichment and cuddles. At weekends, I often head out on longer adventures in the Peak District with dogs who enjoy exploring and longer walks. Equally, if your dog prefers shorter, quieter strolls, I'm happy to tailor their care to suit their individual needs. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else can be a big decision, so I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable and at home. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and well cared for.

Donna looked after Nacho brilliantly! So much so Nacho has new favourite! Donna is really personable, professional and looks after the dogs fantastically well. We can rest assured that Nacho is having a great time whilst we are at work or on holiday

Schedule
I work from home full-time, which means I can provide plenty of company, supervision and attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care are rarely left alone and quickly become part of my daily routine. Every lunchtime, I take a 45-minute woodland walk, giving dogs the opportunity to stretch their legs, explore and enjoy some fresh air. After I finish work at 4pm, I head out again for a longer walk of around an hour in the local woodland, ensuring plenty of exercise and enrichment each day. Most Saturdays, weather permitting, are spent exploring the beautiful trails of the Peak District. If the weather isn't ideal, we enjoy longer walks along the River Mersey instead. These outings provide plenty of opportunities for adventure, sniffing, socialisation and exercise for dogs that enjoy being active. I understand that every dog is different, so I always tailor walks, activities and care to suit their age, energy levels and individual needs, ensuring they feel happy, comfortable and at home while staying with me. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog's safety and wellbeing will always be my top priority. I work from home full-time, so dogs in my care receive plenty of supervision, company and attention throughout the day and are rarely left alone. I have a secure, fenced garden where dogs can safely play, explore and enjoy time outdoors. Inside the home, dogs are treated as part of the family and have access to comfortable spaces to relax and feel at home. There is also plenty of space within the house to separate dogs if needed, whether for mealtimes, rest periods or if they simply prefer their own space. My dog Brodie is a loving, well-socialised dog who enjoys the company of other dogs and has a very calm temperament. He doesn't chase wildlife and is relaxed around other animals, including cats. I always follow each dog's usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements and any special instructions provided by their owners. Every dog is different, and I believe they deserve individual care, attention and lots of love while they're away from home. 🐾
