I was born on World Animals Day, so maybe that’s part of why I’m so crazy about animals. But it’s also because I grew up surrounded by cats and dogs. My family has had several generations of Dutch Shepherds and Belgian Malinois, a Rhodesian Ridgeback, a Jack Russell, and last year I adopted my own dog, Raya, in Mexico. Raya is still in Mexico, and until I bring her over here, I have time to lovingly care for other four legged friends. I’ve taught Raya a lot myself (and helped her unlearn a few things), and recently got my brother’s 7 year old Belgian Malinois to stop pulling on the leash too. My family and friends always call me the dog whisperer, and I love being surrounded by dogs, as long as they’re well behaved, of course. I also spent two years volunteering weekly at a dog shelter in Mexico: cleaning kennels, refreshing water and food, and lots of cuddling. Your pet is welcome at my place, as long as they’re house trained. I can also come to you, whatever works best. I live close to Vondelpark and also across from a small park. My days are flexible and everything’s up for discussion :)
