Disabled, Sick, & Special Needs Support Advanced medical care: My veterinary assistant training enables me to accurately administer oral medications, injections, and specialized diets. Special equipment handling: I am fully experienced with mobility carts, diapers, physical therapy exercises, and lifting slings. Anxiety reduction: I create a calm environment for pets with cognitive dysfunction or sensory loss. I use reassuring, low-stress handling methods. Specialized Puppy Care & Enrichment Structure over chaos: Puppies need consistency. I keep your pup on their strict potty training, crate training, and feeding schedules. Behavior reinforcement: Using my GoodPup training certification, I gently reinforce basic commands, proper socialization, and leash manners. Safety first: I look out for common puppy hazards. I know how to manage teething, prevent destructive chewing, and ensure safe play boundaries. Additional Fees: Special Needs / Medical additional $17.00 per pet / night ADDED TO THE STANDARD RATE Covers 24/7 pet sitting, intensive medical care, fluid therapy, or paralyzed pet management. Pet Transportation Routine Transport Fee: $25 flat fee per round-trip (up to 10 miles total) for routine appointments like grooming or scheduled checkups. If its over 10 miles it’s $25 plus $1.50 per mile Special Needs / Emergency Transport Fee: $40 flat fee + $1.50 per mile for transport involving non-ambulatory dogs, or transit to an emergency hospital. Long distance travel: Daily house-sitting rates + $25.00 (routine) to $40.00 (special needs) per day +$1.50 per mile and pet friendly logging expenses
