PLEASE READ BEFORE REQUESTING A STAY! I have over thirty years experience caring for dogs. I always offer reasonable prices along with high quality care. I have been a Rover Sitter since 2015! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. I am also a volunteer for several local rescue groups including the Humane Society. I foster pregnant and nursing females, seniors, seriously abused and special needs fur friends giving them a safe environment, along with nursing care and plenty of love, until they find their forever homes. Saving lives is my passion. - Dogs six months or older need to be neutered or spayed. House trained dogs and puppies only. While dogs can have an accident, continuous accidents will require immediate pick up. An honest assessment of your dog’s potty behavior will prevent negative issues during the stay. No pee pads or diapers. - No Pit Bulls, Staffordshire Terriers, Huskies or Malinois. No aggressive dogs or dogs that may growl or snap. - To keep all dogs in my care healthy and safe, proof that vaccines are up to date and that a Vet approved flea/tick treatment has been applied is required. Please text me the records before booking. Rabies, DAPP and bordatella vaccines are mandatory! - Please be respectful regarding my time. Dog owners expect me to be available on time and I request the same consideration in return. Additionally, I am unable to accommodate a time span longer than thirty minutes. If you are more than thirty minutes late for your scheduled appointment you will need to reschedule for a mutually agreeable future date or time. If a new drop off time cannot be agreed to the stay will be canceled! - If more than thirty minutes late picking up your pet, an “extended stay” rate will apply. An extra night stay may be necessary if a new pick up time cannot be agreed to by both parties. Regular overnight rates will apply! Time changes will be accepted with 24 hour notice. - I ask that you respect my privacy! If I do not answer your communications I am unavailable! Please do not take my lack of a response as an invitation to come to my home outside our mutually agreed time period. - If your flight is delayed please let me know before you depart. If you are driving I ask that you do the same. Please schedule your pick up time to accommodate delays with baggage, shuttles, traffic, and other unknowns. - I have a dog safe fenced yard on the west side of my home. Dogs are never left in my yard unsupervised. Let me know if you would prefer your dog NOT play with other dogs. Please understand that dogs can play rough and injuries can occur despite all necessary precautions taken on my part. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INJURIES THAT MIGHT OCCUR! - I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE for any illnesses that might occur during the stay. Unfortunately, on rare occasions, dogs become ill and no one is to blame. I do my very best to keep every dog happy and safe. - Please include care instructions on the Rover site or give to me in writing. Verbal instructions can be misunderstood resulting in negative feedback. I will submit a daily report regarding food intake, medication given, if applicable, and any other relevant information. Any signs of illness will be reported to owners and Rover immediately. - I am the only one who will take care of your pet. I do not pass that responsibility to family members or paid employees. I will send pictures or videos each evening. - Clean food and water bowls would be greatly appreciated. Clean beds, blankets or toys are highly recommended. - Dogs are fed separately and do not share food. Any uneaten food is picked up and stored away. Treats will be given occasionally if approved by the pet parent. - I do not offer baths or grooming. Please understand that dogs may pick up dirt playing in the yard. - I DO NOT OFFER MEET AND GREETS. However, you are welcome to book a day care or overnight trial stay for $32. If you decide to book a stay with me A video of my home and yard will be shared upon request. I do not offer tours of my home. - Prices are not negotiable. Dates are not confirmed until the booking is complete. Drop off and pick up appointments can be scheduled between the hours of 8 am and 9 pm. I only book stays through Rover. - I will need acknowledgment that you agree with these statements. By booking a service with me you are accepting the terms of this profile.
