Pet care experience
Semi retired couple who love dogs!!
We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available,they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots,heartworm and flea and tic treatments.

Farley seems quite happy being with Donna and Calvin based on the pictures she sends us ;) He's super tired when he gets home so I'm guessing he plays a lot with the other pups!
Mrs. Donna is fantastic! Our small dog loved her!
Charlie always enjoys staying at Ms. Donna and Mr. Calvin's house. I'm never worried about him when he's in their care.
Farley seemed to have a great time with the other pups and Donna over the weekend! He'll definitely be visiting again!!
Donna and Calvin are a couple who both love dogs very much! They have a comfortable home and sizable safe back yard space for them to enjoy! There are often other dog friends hoarding for company :) My much older Wookie seemed to do just fine in their care and was happy when I retrieved him after a 4 day stay. ❤️ I did have a plane delay which put me in very late night. Donna and Calvin were kind enough to accommodate adding an additional night on late notice.
Kali had a great time! Thank you so much for showing her love and attention. She will definitely be back.

I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed
Pets
A typical day
We love to play in the yard and typically play fetch. If it's pretty out ,I will just hang out in the yard with the dogs and let them play. Husband loves to take dogs on hikes through our area parks and down to the beach!!
