I have been around animals all my life. My dad was an FFA teacher and I grew up raising pigs and having family dogs. I am currently a retired elementary school special needs teacher with lots of patience. We love going for walks around the neighborhood and sitting outside on the patio. I treat visiting dogs like a member of the family. I love cuddling with dogs as I read a good book. I have a larger home where there is lots of room for your dog to run around and play. If your dog likes to be outside I have a large screened in patio and a partially fenced in yard. If I cared for your pet they would get lots of love and attention.

Donna did a wonderful job taking care of Sammy. He is a little hesitate around new people, but I noticed that he immediately licked her hand when he met her:) She sent pictures and treated Sammy like he was one of her family members. I’m so grateful that I found someone I could trust to take care of our dog.

Schedule
I am retired and stay at home most days so visiting dogs get lots of attention. Dogs are let outside multiple times throughout the day and have ample opportunities to exercise.

Visiting dogs get great care in our home. We have a large home with lots of space and multiple areas to accommodate your pet. We take dogs go on frequent walks in the neighborhood.
A typical day
We frequently play with visiting dogs and their toys. Owners typically bring their favorite toys to make them feel at home. Older dogs make themselves at home in their favorite owner provided bedding.
