I'm a stay-at-home mom and business owner so I have time throughout the day to care for animals, train them, play, walk them, and even just chill if that’s what they like to do. I don't have a rigid set schedule in my household, but I will follow any routine pet parents have for their babies. Typically I give two-three potty breaks during the entire day. Sunrise, mid-day, and night time.

I have a 7 year old in my home, she loves animals as well so your fur baby should really enjoy children, have a low prey drive and patience to be a good fit for in home care. I care for my animals like they are my own family. I don't believe kibble and bits is a sustainable long-term way to keep your fur baby alive and healthy for years to come, so I cook fresh dog and catfood that can be added to their kibble or served stand alone. They love it and it's a quick way to get them comfortable and trusting of a new environment especially if they have separation anxiety. I establish myself as the big mama pack leader lol and they listen. I've had dogs that have had aggression towards other dogs come and board with me and make new paw pals. Dogs need to know that you are someone that can lead with love and that method has always had me have success with my furry friends. For cats, I know that they come from a long history and memory in their genes of being chased, disrespected, and even tortured in some places in the world so they need a lot of respect as far as space and allowing them to warm up. Every animal is different, but for cats specifically, I make sure to let them come to me when they're ready and give them their cozy permission to be free. Indipendence is key with felines for sure! My daughter is phenomenal at loving on these fur babies! Some have become her best friend very quickly, while others prefer the mama of the pack XD, either way we have a lot of fun.

Currently only accepting medium to small dogs that are good with kids and don’t mind cats (I have a new kitten named Tobiah). I offer calm, structured in-home care for dogs who thrive in a regulated, peaceful environment. I specialize in longer stays and multi-dog households where consistency, routine, and emotional balance matter. My home is best suited for dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and able to settle indoors without constant stimulation. I prioritize clear communication, advance planning, and mutual trust with owners. For safety reasons, I do not accept dogs with high prey drive, unmanaged aggression, or undisclosed medical conditions. I work best with clients who value stability, structure, and a calm care environment. My care is structured and intentional. I do not offer concierge-style errands, last-minute changes, or services outside of animal care. Bookings are confirmed once dates, rates, and expectations are agreed upon. I work best with clients who value consistency, respect clear boundaries, and communicate proactively.

During the Summer my favorite thing to do is go outside and play! Green Lake and Wallingford Playfield are two of my favorites. If we're not going outside on an adventure, then we're in my apartment courtyard playing, running, and enjoying the sun. I have a daughter and live in an apartment complex with a lot of kids, so dogs that do best in a family setting or need a bit more love and socializing will love time with us. In the colder months we’re inside mostly, and taking lots of naps.

I’ve cared for dogs and cats throughout my life since being a teeny bopper (13-14 years old). I’ve loved animals since I was a child I would binge watch animal planet, discovery channel and dream of having a puppy as a child. My wish came true as I got older and I’ve learned the magic of respecting an animals nature as well as connecting to their hearts. I’m more than happy to help take care of the beings that take care of us in so many ways! Taking care of animals is my bread and butter so I am very professional and pour my heart, attention and care into the animals that choose me as their caretaker!

Donise took exceptional care of my pup! He takes pills twice a day and she was flexible and creative in helping make sure he got his meds, as well as being kind, communicative, and extremely helpful for our relatively long haul holiday boarding. I look forward to working with her again!
This was our first time leaving our dog Theodore with a Rover sitter and Donise was so good with him. She made him part of the family during Christmas and even sent him home with some homemade treats :) Donise was patient and accommodating with his needs and we didn’t have to worry about him at all while on vacation.
Donise was great with my 4 month old puppy, Clover. She sent regular updates and he had a lot of fun playing with her kitten and her daughter. Thanks so much for having him in your home!
We were so lucky to find Donise. We had a sick pup who could not be boarded and Donise was willing and able to take care of her and her brother while we visited family out of state. She was very communicative and sent lots of updates and pictures. I highly recommend her to watch your pups. Dogs came home happy and clearly had lots of play time.
