I'm a 28 year old graduate from Benedictine University (Bachelor's in International Business & Economics/ MBA). I've always had a love for animals which is my main reason for joining Rover. My first experience learning how to care for dogs and cats was when I was 7 years old in a children's program at the Naperville Area Humane Society, a local animal shelter where I eventually adopted my beloved cat Chloe. Since then, friends and family members have turned to me to care for their furry loved ones while they are away on vacation or just need someone to stop in and check on them to hang out/go on walks. I feel like an auntie to all the pets I get to care for, so you can be sure that your fur-baby is loved and taken care of. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments. This includes newborns as early as 1 week old as well as much older pets, both ages requiring a lot of attention and experience managing their needs. I also have experience administering medication orally or injection for both dogs and cats. ** Fully vaccinated against COVID as of 5/18/21 💉 ** Due to COVID-19 I currently "work from home" ** Car equipped with dog seat cover with special seat belts for transportation

Donatella did an AMAZING job!! Not only was she fantastic with communicating, I could tell she is truly a dog lover and she went the extra mile. She sent great pics and updates, and went above and beyond with keeping my velcro dog happy and entertained while I was away. Donatella was so great with our frenchie, Leo! She gave us so many photo updates and we could tell Leo was very happy and well taken care of. She was very responsible. Highly recommend! Definitely plan to have her watch Leo again

Schedule
I work remotely from home so I have plenty of time to hang out with my fur friends. I am able to bring my laptop anywhere as well!

Safety, trust & environment
Whether pets are staying with me or I’m visiting them in their own home, I tailor care to each animal’s routine and personality. I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding and medications, and give plenty of affection and playtime. I keep open communication with regular updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
A typical day
- Play time! - Walks! - Snuggles (if they like that) - Belly rubs and scratches (or whatever area they prefer) - Loving eye contact so they know they are loved and are safe - All the attention they need - Fenced yard backs a huge open field, so we have plenty of room to run and play!
