My name is Donald, Baltimore native, who has been sitting pets for as long as I can remember. After being on Rover for the last 6-7 years, I can say I have met some amazing pets and people and gained amazing experience (and incredible patience) when it comes to caring for dogs and cats alike. I have had an amazing time between French bull dogs and Burmese Mountain mixes. I’ve had stays for one night or three weeks. I’ve had dogs that were not potty trained and those who could only pee in specific locations along their usual route. I have sat for dogs and cats where the dogs had issues going up and down stairs, where cats were having behavioral issues with the litter box or needed multiple medications through the day. While I will let you know if a situation is too much, I will always take it into consideration. Book me today and I can almost guarantee you will also book me tomorrow.

Safety, trust & environment
I treat clients pets the same way I treat my own pets which is with love and understanding. Pets have feelings too and are typically nervous when away from their normal family, but providing a comfortable and fun environment to keep them occupied is important. Same goes for the home. I live by the principle that you should always leave a space better than you found it. From ensuring everything to do with your pets is clean and safe to whatever space I used is clean and fresh as well. Whatever cleaning supplies are available I am happy to use.

Donald is truly a gem of a dog sitter! He stayed with my pup Jagger for 4 days while I was out of state for a wedding, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the start, Donald was communicative, kind, and professional. He sent daily updates with pictures and checked in multiple times a day, which gave me so much peace of mind. He went above and beyond—taking out the trash, running the dishwasher, and leaving my home just as I left it. Most importantly, Jagger was so happy and totally stress-free when I got home. I could tell he’d been well cared for the entire time. This was the longest I have left my baby with anyone other than my parents, and Donald completely put me and Jagger at ease. So grateful to Donald for taking such good care of our pup! This was our first time every having a sitter for him, and it was for a full week - we could not have asked for a better experience for our pup (and for us and for our house, too!). Donald was not only great with our anxious clingy pup, but he also kept us updated regularly and put us at ease that all was going smoothly. He took great care of the house too, with attention to all kinds of little details I wouldn't even have thought of. He was also super flexible when we had to make a last-minute change to our timing - he could not have been nicer about it. And of course, the best and most important part is that our dog loved him and will look forward to when we can have him come again!
Donald did such a great job taking care of my cat! He provided photos and updates each day, and was very easy to reach. My critter was so happy when I got home.

Schedule
My schedule is pretty routine and also flexible in many aspects making it easy for me to work with whatever schedule your pet may have. During days I work, I’m away for 7-8 hours at a time, some remote work with enough notice. Outside of work I have a very relaxed lifestyle typically consisting of reading, watching movies, playing games or cooking.

- Temperament issues or any type of triggers for your dog are important for me to know. Maintaining a consistent and safe environment for me, your dog and everyone around is key to a relaxing time away for you and your pets. Some dogs can be food aggressive or dog aggressive or stranger aggressive, and all is fine and manageable but much more difficult if it comes by surprise.
