I work part time and have loads of free time to connect with pups(they’re better than people, usually). My schedule right now is full-time devoted to doggos, so I can always move things around to accommodate.

Safety, trust & environment
Making sure the dog isn’t fearful of me is step one, it’s hard to stick to their routine when they don’t trust me. Lots of potty breaks that involve playing or treats when they go, to promote good behavior. I try not to raise my voice, especially around new friends, men are scary.

Information Donald K. would like to know about your pet
ALLERGIES, medications needed, eating habits, any notable necessary information on the dog’s personality, mannerisms, or health. Also, any signs of being prey driven at all.
A typical day
Each dog is so different, but filling their time with distractions until their owners return! Park trips, fetch, walks, tug-a-war, hot days REQUIRE sprinkler or hose action, and for the older good boys/girls, lots of snuggles and constant pets.

Pet care experience
I go by my middle name, Forrest, and I’ve always been a huge animal lover! I have a four year old Doxxie that has my heart, and two chonky cats named Braum and Nimbus. I’ve always had animals in the house, whether it be cats, dogs, birds, mice, etc. I also try to meet the individual needs of pets. I’m comfortable with giving medications or even bathing or grooming in most situations. Fetch expert here, love playing with energetic pups. I love giving different voices to different toys, my dog seems to like it too(She abhors the teacup toy with the British accent taunting her lol) Into making connections with dogs and their owners.
Reviews

We’re always grateful for Forrest being available to watch our furbaby, Emma. It was a short-notice booking, but they still welcomed her with open arms. As always, Emma had a wonderful stay! It gives us so much peace of mind knowing we have a trusted sitter who genuinely cares for our pup while we’re away. Thank you again for taking such great care of Emma!

Forest was great. He accepted our booking on short notice which really helped us out. Our one little girl can be very anxious and experience separation anxiety. She seemed to settle in and enjoy her day at daycare. Both girls were content and relaxed at pick up. We will definitely consider Forest again when we need a sitter.

Rebooker here — Forrest is truly the best! Our Emma is an anxious pup with separation anxiety (as most doxies are), and Forrest did an amazing job making her feel safe, loved, and completely at home. Emma wasn’t just cared for — she was treated like part of the family. Picking her up was such a happy moment, and it meant everything to see how comfortable and content she was during her stay. We could tell she genuinely had a great time under Forrest’s care. We’re so grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly, highly recommend!

Our cat had a wonderful time with Forrest and he was very accommodating and flexible with our schedule. He gave us lots of updates and Cheeto had a blast. 100% recommend him as a pet sitter!
