Ready to care for your pet!
I have nearly 30 years of caring for my own miniature pinschers and have fostered dozens of dogs with different issues and helped them find forever homes. I'm currently missing my last minpin who passed from cancer at over 16 years but not ready to adopt yet and I am looking to care for your pet instead. I either work from home or from my office in SeaTac, both locations are dog friendly for well-behaved dogs. If your pet(s) are potty trained and ok with car rides they can go with me to the office and get a walk at Angle Lake Park on office days. Walks at Greenlake or the Interurban Trail if I work from home. In either case, your dog will get lots of human time with me. I travel some for work. The days I'm listed as available are days that I personally can watch your pet. On most days, I will spend all day with your pet and I am rarely away from home for 6 hours or more. I normally have a two-dog limit but will limit my availability down if I have no prior bookings and your dog needs to be the only dog in a household. I will also move my availability up for repeat customers with well-behaved dogs, or if you personally have more than two dogs that get along well.

Don is a fantastic sitter! He was very communicative, and he took excellent care of Finn. Our return flight got delayed by five hours, but Don was very flexible and accommodating.

Tikvah loved her stay with Don! I was a little nervous before the visit because she is often more shy around men than women, but she clearly warmed right up to Don and was snuggling with him on the couch within the first day. Don was very communicative and sent me lots of photos and videos of her going for walks and playing endlessly with the other dog that was staying at his house. It was clear he really cares about the dogs and is very careful, and Tikvah came home relaxed and happy. I will definitely book with Don again!

Schedule
I work alone whether at home or at the office most days and would enjoy the company of your pet. I can definitely use the exercise and can walk up to 3 miles schedule permitting.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fully fenced (6 foot fence) yard and a doggie door. My home is pet proof with laminate flooring so nails or occasional oopsies are not a huge problem. Dogs are welcome on beds and furniture. I have covers ready for heavy shedders. There are dog beds on every floor and in my bedroom, large water bottles in the kitchen and bedroom, as well as outside. I have plenty of dog bowls as well as toys, but feel free to bring anything that makes your dog more comfortable.
A typical day
I work frequently from my home in Greenwood, or bring dogs with me to my office in SeaTac. I try to walk after meals and these are much more fun with a dog. My home is close to the Interurban Trail, Greenlake, and Golden Gardens. My office is close to Angle Lake Park and a trail there. There are multiple dog parks near home for well socialized dogs, walks, fetch, and full-time companionship. I am very willing to help meet your pet's needs.
