My animal husbandry interest began when I was a child growing up on a farm. We had dogs, cows, chickens, cats, geese, peacocks, emus, pigs etc. Love for dogs and other animals is a good starting place but to effectively care for them requires a deeper understanding of their needs. My wife and I enjoy getting to know the personalities of the dogs we care for and making them feel like our house is their second home. Your family member will be watched 24 hours a day. We are always home! Your dog's medication and dietary needs are strictly adhered to and is considered top priority. Daily photos are provided so you have peace of mind that your pup is having fun.

This was our dog’s third stay with Don. She now gets very excited when we say we’re taking her to “Cody’s house”. She enjoys her time watching the Don, Melody, and their dog, Cody and they take excellent care of her. Highly recommend.

Don and Melody took exceptional care of our yellow lab, Winnow, while we were out of the country. She got along very well with their sweet lab, Cody and enjoyed the routines of their household. We would not hesitate to leave Winnow with Don again in the future and hope to do so soon!
Lenny loved his stay with Don and his wife! I could tell from the minute he walked in their home he was comfortable with them and their dog Cody. Don sent multiple pictures every day and I could tell from Lenny's eyes and body posture he was happy and well cared for. Cody is also a gracious canine host ... it was super sweet how he welcomed Lenny and they hung out together in the house and on walks. Thank you so much!

Schedule
We believe you need peace of mind that your pup will be cared for 100% of the time. That means we do not crate or leave them alone. Pick up and drop off time is before 9 pm, 7 days a week for Dog Boarding. Daycare hours are a maximum of 8 hours from drop off to pick up beginning at 7 am or later. An additional $10 will be added to the Daycare stay if 8 hours is exceeded.

Safety, trust & environment
We take pride in providing a safe and nurturing environment for your pet. We do not allow rough play which includes dog wrestling or any form of aggressive or dominant behaviour. If your dog displays any of those traits we are not the right fit. Please reach out for a meet and greet at least two weeks in advance prior to the date of the stay. This allows both of us to see how well your pup and our pup get along without getting in a time crunch. Dog Boarding stay length is two weeks or less. We only take one dog at a time because our goal is a safe, fun and stress free stay for your BFF.

A typical day
Your dog will get the VIP (Very Important Pup) treatment when he or she stays with us. There is no extra charge for daily walks. If your family member thrives on love, attention and healthy play, then we are the sitter for you.
