I love pets of all kinds, and find it very rewarding to gain their trust and make sure they are living their best life while their owner is away! I have experience with small to medium-large dogs since childhood, and had a senior cat for the last 5 years. I am good at picking up on body language queues or behavior changes, especially in more subtle and shy pets. I have lots of experience with administering medications, including with dogs suspicious of pill wrap and cats who have figured out all nicer methods besides the pill gun/liquid syringe.

I make sure to ask the important questions upfront so to minimally disturb your time away! I also have a sixth sense for when pets get into things they aren't supposed to, and if house-sitting am attuned to their (& your belongings' lol) safety!

Dom is one of the most compassionate, dedicated people I’ve ever met. She took care of her cat, Bea, throughout her lifespan, supporting her needs with tons of pets, play, love, and attention. When Bea received a cancer diagnosis, she took care of her treatments, from medication to dietary needs, even when it took a tremendous effort to do so. And with my own cats she’s been nothing but kind and affectionate, helping care for them when I’ve been away. She’s an awesome pet parent!

Schedule
I occasionally travel for contract work, but keep my calendar religiously up-to-date and have plenty of daytime/evening availability! The more time in advance I get, the more likely I can plan around your pet's needs and ensure availability.
