I am currently a dog groomer with about 2 and a half years of experience. I also own two dogs: a one-year old australian shepherd x australian cattle dog mix named Titan, and a five-month old great pyrenees x lab mix named Fallon. I also own six rats as of right now too!

I’ve never had the experience of caring for someone else’s dog in their home, so allow me to tell you how mine are cared for at home! Each day, they get fed dinner at 7:30-8PM. This is because they don’t touch their breakfast, no matter how much we offer it! I mix in Kefir non-fat, plain yogurt with pumpkin, raw food as a topper, and an assortment of different fruits that benefit their health. Each month, they both get full groomings, which includes a bath, a brushout, their nails and teeth done, and a nice smelly cologne. I have a fenced-in backyard so they get to run around and play constantly! They are kenneled at night for their safety, so they don’t get into anything they shouldn’t when we’re asleep, as well as kenneled when we aren’t home - but I’m home a majority of the time, so it’s free roam most of the day!

The most important information you can provide is, your pet’s temperament toward people, dogs, cats, and situations. It is also important to tell me what they are allergic to and if they require a muzzle for any reason. I also like to ask that you provide information about your home, as dogs are territorial creatures, so if there is a room that your dog likes and doesn’t like strangers entering, please make me aware of this. I don’t want your dog’s safety at a risk, or mine!
A typical day
Depending on the behaviors of the dog, I will take them on walks, take them to parks, and find different things we can explore and do together. Because I live near a military base, there is plenty of different activities we can do with your pup! I also live near an on-post dog park, if you wanted your pup to socialize with other dogs! There is also a lovely little stream a few miles away from where I live and a great big field they can run around in. I bring a tether and post with me for their safety, as to make sure they don’t get spooked and run away and to make sure they aren’t off-leash for any reason.
