I have over 3 years of experience in veterinary hospitals and shelters. I can handle all types of dog breeds and sizes. I am able to give medication to your pet if they require it. I also have a high standard for pet care, and will do everything I can to ensure your pet is happy while you are away!

I understand our animals are apart of the family and it can be difficult to trust people to care for them. Any care instructions for your pet will be followed exactly as you please. I also believe it is important to listen to the animal, for example if a dog is refusing to walk anymore then we can just sit and watch squirrels together for a while. I won’t force an animal if it is not necessary.

I have a more difficult "spicy" kitty who I was really worried to leave at home with anyone while I visited family overseas. Dominique had just the skills and experience I was looking for, and she executed the stay with absolute professionalism and grace. She handled the more difficult parts of my cat's personality, providing unconditional care to make sure she had everything to feel safe and comfortable while I was away. She even was able to provide a photo with each stay (not the easiest feat for my girl!) and always provided necessary updates. By the end, my cat even seemed to have accepted her and calmed down a bit, a trust that takes years for others to gain with her. Super glad I hired her and will reach out if I ever need to leave for an extended period again!

Dominique has always been really good with both of my cats and has helped me care for them on multiple occasions. I have had her watch over them on multiple occasions when I have been away on vacation, and trust her completely with their care. She understands the differences between how each cat needs to take care of (feeding instructions, medical needs, how they like to play) and has always done an exceptional job. This experience, coupled with her years of veterinary related schooling, as well as extensive work experience with animals proves that she would be a perfect fit working with Rover.

I am currently working rotating shifts in a veterinary hospital. My times can vary but feel free to send me a message to discuss if I would be a good fit for your pets needs!
