I’ve been caring for animals since I was four, starting with a stray dog that became part of our family. I’ve raised labs, cared for litters of puppies, and helped senior pets with mobility issues, blindness, and medication routines, including pills, injections, and inhalers. I’ve even raised a wolf dog from a pup! I’m comfortable with all breeds, energy levels, and ages. My military background and current role as a service advisor have instilled a deep sense of responsibility, punctuality, and communication. I always provide updates, photos, and videos to help you feel connected while you're away. Whether it’s a shy cat or an energetic pup, I take the time to help each animal feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

When caring for pets in their own home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, whether it’s feeding times, walk schedules, medication, or favorite toys and games. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secured properly, and I keep a close eye on anything that could pose a risk (like trash bins, open windows, or small objects). I respect the client’s home like it’s my own and always clean up after the pets and myself. Clear communication is key. I send regular updates, photos, and notes so you always know how your pet is doing while you’re away.

Dominique did a great job caring for our cat while we took a family weekend trip to the Redwoods. Very detailed updates on care and pics made the family happy and assured that Izzy was in good hands and being cared to. We would definitely seek out Dominique again when we need animal check ins!

Schedule
Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and have always made time for. I work a full-time job during the day, but my evenings and weekends are wide open, which makes me a great fit for drop-ins, walks, and weekend care. I treat every pet visit as a priority, and I’m happy to accommodate early mornings, late evenings, or even last-minute requests depending on my schedule. Spending time with animals is something I look forward to, and I structure my week to make sure each pet gets focused, unrushed attention.
