I am currently a vet tech at a local animal hospital, but have temporarily gone part-time to finish my Bachelor's in Animal Science, so I have fairly open availability to care for your baby during the week. I am very flexible and can work with you on providing times for care that work best for you and your fur baby!

I have vast experience caring for animals in my own home, as I am also a foster mom for my hospital's rescue from time to time! I have cared for several people's animals in the comfort of their own homes as well! I have moved into a house, so I have a nice, unfenced yard for potty breaks and play time, or we can always go for walks at the park! I provide a lot of pictures during my visits because I know how much trust it takes for someone to take care of your baby while you're gone, and I want to provide as much peace of mind as I can that they are being well cared for and loved.

A typical day
I love going for walks in parks and trails, so I'd love to take your baby to fun and stimulating walks and have plenty of toys and activities I can do with them to keep them happy and active! If they are a more chill and relaxed pet, then I LOVE to snuggle and just shower them with attention and kisses! I always ask owners if the pets have a specific toy or treat that they really love and incorporate that into our time together so they have the most enjoyable time while in my care!

I am currently a vet tech at a local animal hospital and have over 2 years of experience in that field. I have administered medication, vaccines, cared for sick animals that require extra attention, and have a vast knowledge of animal welfare. I have been a pet owner since I could walk. I have always cared for dogs from my own family, to relatives, to friends of the family. I helped my dog Lily give birth to her puppies and made sure they were always fed and safe, since Lily was only a year old herself and wasn't sure what to do. I'm able to give baths, I love cuddling and providing plenty of play time, and I will happily give treats to the best boys and girls I care for (that's all of them!) I provide a lot of pictures during my visits because I know how much trust it takes for someone to take care of your baby while you're gone, and I want to provide as much peace of mind as I can that they are being well cared for and loved.

Dominique was absolutely wonderful! She was so considerate and helpful to me and my cat, constantly sending photo updates and making sure I was kept in the loop (in the best way!). Dominique gave me so much ease as Lily stayed with her for many weeks. And obviously Lily has so much fun, was comfortable and made new friends! Would definitely recommend. Thank you so much!
Dominique did a great job watching my dog that has health issues that need monitoring and medicines to take. I felt very confident in her ability since she's a vet tech and it all went well!
We are so glad we found Dominique! It was my first time using Rover, and she responded to my request quickly and was helpful and informative. We needed someone to watch our puppy who struggles with anxiety/separation anxiety. We have a “visitor protocol” our trainer told us to use with new people, which she followed gladly, and Milo ended up taking to her quickly and clearly felt comfortable with her! It was our first time leaving him alone, but Dominique made us comfortable as well with lots of updates and photos. Thank you Dominique for being prompt, attentive, sending cute pictures of you and Milo playing and relaxing together, and helping our boy feel safe while we were gone!
Dominique was so friendly and easy to work with. She took such good care of my senior dog and her needs. You can tell how much she loves animals and her job. I would absolutely use Dominique again. She took my dogs frisbee everywhere and Bella approved!
