Firefighter by Day, Dog Walker by Heart
I’ve grown up with animals and cared for all sorts of animals from cats and dogs to sheep and goats! Until recently I had a dog of my own but change of circumstances meant I no longer see him. I know how hard it is to find a reliable dog walker and someone you can trust to give your beloved pet the time and care they deserve having struggled with it myself in the past. I am really looking forward to having the opportunity to walk, play and give loads of doggy cuddles with your pets. Through my professional background, I’ve learned to stay calm, patient, and attentive in new or uncertain situations. Skills I think help pets feel safe and comfortable. I love caring for animals and always prioritise their comfort, happiness, and well-being.

I treat every pet as if they were my own. Whether in your home or out on a lovely walk , I provide plenty of attention, love, and companionship. Ensuring they are safe, have comfortable spaces for resting and playing. Sticking to feeding, walks, and routines exactly as you request. Gentle handling and positive reinforcement to help pets feel secure. My profession has taught me to stay calm, patient, and attentive in all situations. Key skills I bring to every pet in my care. I also provide updates with photos or messages so you always know your pet is happy, safe, and comfortable.
Ratings and reviews
Dominik looked after my dog Raffi for two days. Raffi had surgery a few weeks ago so needed careful handling. Dominik was fantastic with him and Raffi adores him. Dominik provided regular updates through the day and I felt totally comfortable leaving Raffi in his care.
Dominik was a lifesaver for me when I was traveling. He took great care of my dog and kept me in the loop the whole time. I would definitely recommend and use him again.
I’d like to recommend Dominik. He has spent a lot of time with for our 9-month-old Labrador. He’s calm, responsible, and clearly enjoys being around dogs, even energetic puppies! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others!
I can’t think of anyone better suited to be a pet sitter or dog walker than Dom. He has spent a lot of time with my Labrador and often takes him on walks. My dog is quite strong and can sometimes pull, and Dom handles him confidently and calmly, always keeping things safe and under control. Dom is a firefighter, which really shows in how alert, capable, and steady he is in any situation. Any pet parent would be lucky to have Dom caring for their dog!
Dominik is a very responsible and caring person. He is extremely reliable and professional. Pets naturally respond to Dom because of his calm and attentive approach. He makes sure every pet is happy, safe, and cared for. His experience and love for animals make him a caregiver I would trust 100%.

Schedule
I work full-time as a firefighter, with a rotating schedule of two days on, two nights on, and then four days off. During my days off, I’m fully available to care for pets, take dogs on walks, or provide drop-in visits. On my workdays, I’m happy to schedule morning or evening walks before or after my shifts. I’m very organised and reliable, so pets in my care get consistent attention, exercise, and love. I always prioritise safety, routine, and comfort for pets, making sure they feel happy and secure whether I’m walking them, feeding them, or just spending quality time together.
