Recently graduated student, I’m happy to care for animals anytime during the day; I’m currently between jobs, so am available most days! Happy to walk, drop in, day care or even longer stays for pets.

Besides going for walks, there are other ways to keep dogs entertained. During the pandemic,I learnt many different ways to keep my dog, and myself, from boredom.
Information Dominic W. would like to know about your pet
Just how much walking they like, how they are with other dogs/humans, whether they are trained off the lead/recall. As for cats, just if they are affectionate or prefer their own space!
A typical day
So other than walking and the usual fetching and hide and seek, I’ve learnt a few tricks with treats; hiding them in accessible places, or rolling them up in towels/scrunched newspaper. These are all good ways to stimulate dogs, and get them using their noses as they should!

Pet care experience
I’ve looked after neighbours dogs and friends as well, mostly walking but also general care. I’m an avid walker, so would love to have some company whilst I’m at University. Also, I have cared for my own dog for 11 years.

Dominic came at short notice and took Leia on a walk which was a big help to us. He was very good with her and clearly an experienced dog handler. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.
Dominic was super friendly and did a great job looking after Frank for the night. He kept in touch by text and left the house neat and tidy. Frank was wearing a cone for the weekend which could have made things harder but this didn’t phase Dominic. Wouldn’t hesitate to use him again.
Dom was fantastic looking after our cat Charlie with 2 home visits a day. He sent great updates each visit and was more than happy to accommodate our various requests, I’d happily use him again if we go away.
Dominic helped us with socialising our nervous dog, Kimber, who can be a little jumpy around strangers. We are really thankful that Dominic was gentle with him, mindful of his needs and carefully considered the information we sent through ahead of time. We would certainly be happy to engage Dominic again in the future when we need help with Kimber.
