That experience has taught me a lot about understanding behaviour, building trust and adapting care as pets get older. I’m DBS checked and qualified in Pet First Aid and CPR, and I’ve cared for many dogs and cats through Rover, from playful younger pets to seniors who benefit from a gentler pace. I’m comfortable following medication and feeding routines, caring for older pets, and supporting nervous animals who benefit from a patient, calm approach. My home is quiet, pet-friendly and has a secure fenced garden. I focus on calm, personal care, following each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, with clear communication and regular updates for owners.

Dom was a great at home dog sitter! He is incredible personable and asked all the right questions in our meet and greet that gave us the confidence that he knew what he was doing. Dom was brilliant, and my pup came home very happy! He was very thorough before her stay, we had a lovely meet and greet to make sure she was comfortable in his home first, and his booking form meant we could give all the information needed about her to make her stay as seamless as possible. He sent plenty of pupdates and photos which I loved, of both her on fun walks and having cuddles back at home 😊 I hadn’t used Rover or a dog sitter before but he made us feel so comfortable and we will definitely be using his services again! ⭐️
We couldn’t recommend Dom highly enough. When looking after our lurcher recently Dom was very patient with her to help her relax. He provided great updates on walks and how she had been which was very reassuring. We would definitely book Dom again.
Dom was amazing just as the last time we booked him to look after our two cats for a week. One of our cats even came up to Dom for pets this time, which made me so happy! Dom even sent photos and videos of this first encounter. Usually both cats hide under our bed when we are away, as they are people-shy, indoor cats. I can only give Dom top marks again, for being professional, reliable, punctual, friendly, as well as providing timely photos and texts while we were abroad. Incredibly patient, calm and confident!
As always Dom provides a fantastic service looking after Pepper. After a week away she is calm and content which is wonderful to see. Dom managed Peppers medication and physio needs with ease. Communication throughout the house sit was perfect, lots of photos and detail on how Pepper was doing and the house is spotless which is amazing to come back to.

Schedule
My routine with each pet is shaped around their usual needs and the service booked. That may include walks, feeding, play and enrichment, toilet breaks and plenty of quiet rest. I like to keep things calm and familiar, following each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they can feel comfortable and settled.

I follow each owner’s care instructions closely, including feeding, exercise, rest and any individual routines that help their pet feel settled. For home boarding, my home provides a calm, secure environment with a fenced garden. Dogs are introduced carefully and can be separated when needed for feeding, rest or comfort. I keep owners updated with honest messages, photos and notes throughout their pet’s care.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day is shaped around the pet’s normal routine. For dogs staying with me, that usually includes suitable walks, opportunities to explore and sniff, play or enrichment, regular toilet breaks, feeding at their usual times and plenty of quiet rest. I adjust activities to the individual dog’s age, energy level and needs rather than using the same routine for every pet. Calm interaction, reassurance and comfort are always part of the day too.
