Hi! I’m Divya, a big dog lover and the proud owner of a Husky named Yukon, so I’m very comfortable caring for active and energetic dogs. Huskies need a lot of exercise and attention, which has given me great experience with long walks, playtime, and understanding different dog personalities. Over the years my husband and I also watched many friends’ dogs for free while they were away for a day or a weekend. Because of that, I’ve had experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I live in the East Bay and love taking dogs on long walks around the neighborhood or to nearby parks so they can get plenty of exercise and stimulation. Whether your dog needs a walk, a quick bathroom break, or someone to spend time with them while you’re out of town, I’d be happy to help. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and always try to follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible. Just let me know what your dog likes, their habits, and anything I should be aware of so I can make sure they have a great experience. I’d love to help take care of your dog and give you peace of mind while you’re away!

Divya and Shane were amazing with Baxter and their dog Yukon is a really sweet dog too. Divya and Shane were flexible and accommodating with the pickup and dropoff times. They took good care of Baxter, enquired about his schedule and made sure Baxter is comfortable in their home. Yukon tried to get Baxter to play but Baxter, being older now, did not want to play and Yukon was content with being chill and giving him space. Baxter usually is not comfortable in other’s homes but he had a good time with Divya and Shane. Would highly recommend Divya and Shane and will be definitely be leaving Baxter with them again.
Divya has been amazing with my dog Mojo. She is a big reason I even felt comfortable getting a dog in the first place because she knows so much and genuinely cares. Whenever she watches Mojo I feel completely at ease. She is responsible, attentive, and really understands dogs. It is clear she treats him like her own. Her dog Yukon is also the sweetest and Mojo absolutely loves spending time with him. It makes the whole experience even better. I would recommend Divya to anyone looking for someone they can fully trust with their dog.
Divya and her husband are wonderful, reliable dog sitters who truly love animals. Over the years I’ve seen them care for several dogs, each one treated like part of the family. They’re patient, attentive, and make sure every dog feels comfortable and safe. They also have their own husky, Yukon, who is incredibly sweet and well cared for, which says a lot about the kind of pet parents they are. Any dog staying with them will get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I’d absolutely trust them with my own pets and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring Rover sitter.
Divya took great care of my dog Ava. She is a wonderful dog owner and it shows in how she treats other dogs. Her dog is so sweet and warmed up well to our newborn. I would definitely recommend her for your Rover needs.
Divya has watched my dogs Tiggy and Izzy and they love spending time with her and Yukon. They are very close with Yukon and he is such a gentle and friendly dog. Izzy has stayed over with them several times and always has a great time. She has a lot of energy and always gets plenty of exercise with Divya and Yukon. I would definitely recommend Divya for Rover.
Divya and her husband are wonderful with animals. Their husky Yukon is friendly, happy, and clearly very loved. It was great to see how engaged they were with both dogs and how naturally the pets respond to them. Anyone would be lucky to have them care for their pets.

Schedule
I’m currently working from home a few times a week and available for weekend boardings. My husband and I usually are home during the week. Weekends we usually spend a lot of time with our husky. He’s super friendly not overly talkative dog and loves all dogs of all sizes.

I live in a 2 bedroom apartment and have flexibility to take in a crate or use my dogs large one. We take our dog out 4-5 times a day depending on the day.

A typical day
I will take them on long walks, give them lots of play time with one another, and with myself. We will also send you updates throughout the day if you are interested in pictures to show their day and give you comfort that your dog is in good hands.
