I was raised in a grooming shop!
Dog owners, your furry friends will love me! I was practically raised in a grooming shop so dogs of all shapes and sizes were always in and out. I have three Bichons back home in Delaware, left in the best of care with my groomer father. I miss them dearly! I'm a writer of sorts so I have open availability throughout the week! I'm very active with dogs, I can play catch all day! I will give them a human companion to interact with instead of being cooped up every time you're away from home. I can also read a dogs behavior to personalize my approach and give your friend the best care possible. Since I'm unable to have a pet of any sorts in my Los Angeles home, being a dog sitter is the next best option.

We were referred to Divante from a friend of ours who’s been commissioning him for some years. We have a 3 legged Bichon with a bit of health problems so she needs some special care! We love our girl but it has limited us in many ways. Glad we started working with Dee.. he’s very patient and gentle with her!
Divante used to work for us at the shop for many years taking care of more than just the animals. We have a mastiff and 2 bulldogs on the property that we all love but sometimes just too busy to give them the proper attention. Divante always comes clutch when we need him most! If we ever had to let go of the dogs, he would be amongst our first options.
Been telling Divante he should be a pet care taker for years now! Used to always have him watch my dogs while my family went on vacation.. we have 3 pits and a Corgi, they all absolutely love Divante and look forward to seeing him when he’s around!

Schedule
I have open availability all days of the week. I focus primarily on freelance work so my schedule will be updated frequently. I spend a lot of my personal time by myself so enjoying it with some animal friends will be very fulfilling.

Safety, trust & environment
The pets throughout my life have always been trained by myself or others in the household to a point we can keep them in the house comfortably without too much worry of accidents. Outside play time is necessary and interaction with the caretaker is needed. Love to show affection to animals, even those who are aggressive. I have a nak of calming animals downs, having them lower their defenses and becoming comfortable with me.
Pets
A typical day
Typically, I will make sure the dog is fed and hydrated before we take our walk! I like to be adventurous so I will try to take a different route as much as possible unless the dog finds a way they enjoy most! I will usually travel towards the nearest park or pet friendly area to commence free time.
