Dirk, from the very beginning, has been patient, attentive, and genuinely loving with my dog. He doesn’t just “watch” him — he truly engages. He plays, takes him on long walks, and makes sure every little need is met. What really stands out is how natural he is with dogs. They instantly feel comfortable around him. He understands their body language — when they need space, when they want to play, and when they just need calm reassurance. My dog absolutely lights up when he walks into the room, and that says everything. He’s responsible, reliable, and treats my dog like his own. Whether it’s sticking to feeding schedules, giving treats in moderation, keeping up with routines, or just offering extra belly rubs, he puts in genuine care and effort. As you can see from his pictures, my dog Corduroy — a 10-pound toy poodle/Bichon mix — adores him. Dirk even creates fun games that keep Corduroy engaged while also teaching him patience and focus. What truly showed me how incredible he is was a scary moment when Corduroy choked on a large bone outside and couldn’t breathe. Dirk immediately jumped into action, stayed calm under pressure, and helped him expel the bone. He truly saved his life. After that, Corduroy wouldn’t leave his side the rest of the night. I trust Dirk completely. Any dog would be lucky to have someone as caring, attentive, and quick-thinking as him. 🐾💛

Dirk is my go to for my furry friend, Rocket. Dirk is very professional and easy going and has, on multiple occasions, been very accommodating for scheduling and replies promptly. Rocket loves him. As a cattle dog, he requires a lot of running and playtime and I can always count on Dirk to make sure Rocket gets plenty of time to feel the wind blowing between his ears. Dirk also helps maintain Rockets eating schedule and specific treats he’s allowed to have as Rocket has digestive issues. I fully trust Rocket in Dirks care and appreciate the extra effort and professionalism! Dirk- you’re the best!
