Meet and Greet: I require a meet and greet to ensure comfort and trust between all parties involved. Trust: I prioritize open communication, providing regular updates with photos and videos to keep pet parents informed and at ease. Dog Walking: I am able to walk any dog! If your pet already knows how to walk well, great! If they’re a puller or reactive on the leash, I prefer using a snoot lead to have gentle, effective control over the dog while walking. Clients’ Home: I am very courteous and mindful. I am sure to follow any particular instructions as well as maintain your privacy! Health & Safety: I keep emergency contacts handy and prioritize the pet's needs, reaching out to a vet or emergency animal hospital if necessary. I am equipped to handle minor injuries like small cuts or recovery from a procedure. I am not certified in any pet safety, but I’ve had my share of pet emergencies over the years. I am quick and calm under pressure, should there be any type of emergency.

Ein typischer Tag
I always prioritize sticking to the pet’s normal routine as provided by the pet parent. Once those responsibilities are taken care of, I spend time bonding with the pet if they’re up for it! Whether it’s playing fetch, petting, cuddling, or engaging in their favorite pastimes, I make sure the pet feels at ease and enjoys our time together. I take the pet’s health and energy levels into consideration, ensuring that activities are suited to their needs. I like to incorporate short basic training sessions for mental stimulation and to strengthen our bond.

🐾 As someone who has cared for animals her whole life, AND has experience in healthcare, logistics, and account management, I have a range of skills that make me a great pet sitter! My approach is to care for your pet as if they were my own. 🐶 I am experienced in basic training, kennel training, administering medication, bathing, and cleaning up after pets. Or just giving playtime and belly rubs! 🤓 Aside from skills in pet care, I am big on open communication, thinking ahead, and problem-solving. This gives me confidence that together we can tackle any potential issues that may arise. 🐕 I currently have two 50lbs dogs that are my pride and joy! Lana, I found roaming the streets back in 2018, and Panini is my foster fail from December 2024. I provide a routine lifestyle for them and am diligent about their training and behavior. 🦴 Additional Info: • I’ve successfully dog-sat for friends, family, and neighbors over the years and have become their go-to whenever they’re away. • I have fostered large dogs and prepared them with training and routine to get them adopted. • I've helped reunite at least 10 lost dogs with their families as I will always stop to help a lost dog on the street. • Additionally, I love ALL ANIMALS! Snakes, rats, fish, etc. Growing up I’ve cared for fish, birds, reptiles, and guinea pigs. • Lastly, I’m also good with plants! So if you have any that are in need of care while you’re away, I’ve got you!

Loved and appreciated the daily check in pictures and videos sent during the stay. Dawkins always looked happy and very well cared for. I’d book again and have already recommended Dionne to a friend.
Dionne is such an amazing sitter! She did an absolutely amazing job watching after my two dogs and cat while I was away. I felt at ease on my trip, knowing that they were in her care. She took the dogs for walks and gave my cat Sylvia plenty of love. She was also very responsive and provided plenty of updates and photos. Our house was just the way we left it, she kept things very clean and tidy. We will definitely be using her again when we go on our next vacation!
Dionne took amazing care of my cat. Not only would I recommend her, I personally will not be going to anyone else from now on!
Dionne is such a fantastic neighbor, she has always offered me help whenever I need it. She’s such a great dog parent, and she gets along really well with my dog too! She also knows a lot about taking care of plants, so whenever I go out of town I know who to ask to watch my houseplants and puppy :)
