To me, dogs are family.
*covid-19 vaxxed and boosted* Hi! I’m a Bay Area grown college student. I’ve lived in the city for 3 years now and have grown up taking care of dogs, mainly large sized ones. I love being with animals in general, so doing this as a side job is almost more like a hobby I’m passionate about and paid for :) Many friends, family, and neighbors have had me sit for them for many years! I aim to engage with dogs and play with them how they want to be played with. I will treat your dogs and pets like family, the same way I treated mine growing up. My approach to caring for animals is first to follow the owners instructions and pets body language. I follow this up with loving and disciplined quality engagement. I always follow instructions and aim to do whatever possible for your pet to have a vacation as well as you! . I’m open to small, medium, and large dogs and have experience caring for cats as well. I click best with medium energy dogs that I can take out to a park or the beach, but also cuddle with while watching a movie. I have several roommates, so your pet can look forward to near 24/7 attention, even when I’m not home. I look forward to hearing from you soon and looking after your lovely pet! I attend school and work part time. I’m home all days of the week except for Tuesday’s, Thursday’s, and Saturday’s, when I have work/class for about 6hrs. What this means for your pet is expecting to not be alone for more than 4-6hrs at a time. Things can always be arranged if your pet needs more attentive care, please communicate with me for accommodations! Your pet will have access to the entire house, with the backyard accessible if needed. When home alone, pets can roam throughout house, and will most likely float to whichever roommate is there to love them. I love including pets into parts of my day like joining me for an errand (with the owner’s permission).

Always a 5 star! We’ve been using Dione for about a year now to watch our rottie Biscuit. Every time we drop her off, she runs straight into Dione’s house without looking back. Dione is great with her and we’re so thankful to have found someone who can handle a large dog with some leash reactivity.
Zoë loves staying with Dione. We've had her dog sit multiple times and she's great, good communication and reliable, which is why we keep booking with her.
Dione was great with our loud, barking, jumping dog. He immediately felt comfortable and went on a great walk.
Dione & her partner took great care of Lois and kept us updated with photos throughout the stay!
Finding Dione is such a relief! Our dog has some leash reactivity and with her being 80 lbs, it’s hard to find someone capable of (or even willing to) walking/watching her. We met Dione a week before leaving Biscuit with her - she assured us that she has experience with both big dogs and dogs with leash reactivity and Biscuit immediately liked her. While watching Biscuit for the weekend, Dione provided daily updates and pictures which we appreciated. So happy that we found her and will definitely use her in the future!

A typical day
I live walking distance from the beach and Golden Gate Park, which are great places for pets so I would love to take them there. Of course if you as the owner have any suggestions or preferences of where to take your pet, I am more than open to that as well. I become familiar with and love on every dog before I walk them so they feel safe and comfortable with me!
