The feline-friendly pharmacist
I am currently a pharmacist working in the emergency department at a local hospital. I spent 16 years caring for my chihuahua, Cuervo, who I loved dearly before he passed away. I am now the new owner of two energetic 10-month old kittens, named Dex (short for dexmedetomidine, a medication used in surgery and intensive-care units in hospitals) and Snaccs. Caring for these adorable kittens has motivated me to provide pet-sitting services in the downtown Chicago area. Being a healthcare professional, I have an intrinsic desire to help people and hope to broaden my experiences with animals. I am a strong proponent of mindfulness, and believe animals strengthen our connection to the present moment and encourage healthy stress relief. I aim to care for your fur family with as much devotion as I would care for my own patients, friends, and family.

I grew up caring for my sweet pup, Cuervo, for 16 years before he passed away. My kittens have a strong brotherly bond and we adopted them together from the same litter so that they would still have each other. My fiancée and I adore these kittens, and have ensured to play with them often, encourage appropriate nutrition for kittens, and hope to broaden their horizons by taking them on walks to see the world. I aim to thoroughly honor the wishes of the pet owners and ultimately make their fur families feel comfortable, safe, and loved.

Dion is an excellent cat sitter! He really understands cats in general and follows all care instructions to the T. He is present and attentive during his visits so our sweet boy gets a ton of love and play while we’re away. I would highly recommend Dion for any cat sitting needs!

Dion was a superb caretaker for our cat. It was evident from his pictures that he lavished her with attention and she loved having him there. He was also patient with some home automation/entry glitches. Highly recommended
Dion was amazing. Went above and beyond, took really great care of my guy, Gus. And he sent the best check in photos! I didn’t have to worry at all while I was away.
Dion did an amazing job watching our cat Padfoot for a long weekend. He came twice a day to check in on him, play with and feed him. He followed all of the instructions carefully and sent detailed check in notes and pictures. He even scooped the litter boxes at every visit even if we only asked for it once a day. It also seemed like Padfoot really took to him quickly. We were able to enjoy our getaway and not worry as much because we knew Padfoot was in such good hands. I would highly recommend Dion for any cat sitting needs!

Schedule
I work full-time, Monday-Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm. I am off all weekends. I am able to come by in the mornings before 10:00am and after 7:00pm during the week (M-F), and have flexibility for the entire day on Saturday/Sundays.
