My schedule is currently very flexible since I’m working on writing my first YA fantasy novel full-time, which allows me to dedicate plenty of attention and care to pet sitting throughout the week. I’m especially open for bookings this summer, including weekdays and many weekends, with the exception of some limited availability from mid to late August. Because I work from home on my writing, I’m often available for: • Midday walks and check-ins • Flexible drop-in visits • Morning or evening care • Longer stays and extended care routines • Extra photo/video updates throughout the day I know pets thrive on consistency, attention, and companionship, so having a flexible schedule allows me to be more present and responsive to their needs rather than rushing in and out between appointments. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets while you’re away. I always try to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment where pets can stick to their normal routines as much as possible. Whether that means quiet companionship for anxious cats, extra playtime for energetic dogs, or simply giving nervous pets patience and space to warm up naturally, I tailor care to each animal’s personality and needs. During visits, I pay close attention to details like secure doors and gates, clean food and water areas, safe walking practices, and making sure pets feel relaxed and cared for in their home environment. I also love sending photo and video updates while you’re away because I know how much people miss their pets. Sometimes all it takes is one picture of your dog smiling on a walk or your cat dramatically stretched across the couch like royalty to make being away a little easier. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and getting lots of love and attention while you’re gone.

Hi! I’m Dina, a lifelong animal lover based in Niantic, CT. I recently moved to the area with my husband, Collin, who works at Millstone, and our very spoiled fur baby, Leo the cat. Although I’m new to Rover and still fairly new to the area, I’m definitely not new to pet care. I’m 33 years old and have been pet sitting since middle school, caring for both dogs and cats through long-term stays, drop-in visits, walks, feeding routines, litter changes, and playtime. I’m patient with shy or nervous pets and always let them warm up at their own pace. One of my favorite moments was when I got a skittish dog to come over and say hi, and my niece asked if I could “speak Dog.” I can’t officially confirm, but I do have a pretty good track record with tail wags. 🐕 My background is in photography and marketing, but I recently stepped back from that field to chase my dream of becoming an author. I’m currently working on my first YA fantasy novel while earning extra income doing something I genuinely love: caring for animals. I also have plenty of references available upon request. As an added bonus, I offer mini pet photo sessions during visits for an additional fee. I shoot with a Nikon mirrorless camera, and pets have always been one of my favorite subjects. My cat Leo is basically a celebrity in my camera roll, and I’d love to capture sweet, funny, frame-worthy moments of your pets too. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family members!
