Pet care experience
I'm your pup's favorite (sitter)!!
If we meet at a party, usually I'm the person hanging out with the dog/cat. I've always had animals around in one way or another, whether it's a hamster or my grandmother's chickens or one of the family dogs. I think liking and treating animals with love and respect is a very important trait in a person. When I rescued my then 5 month pup, Benny, I really spent time researching and training him myself - potty, crate, commands, etc. It's hard to believe that it's been 6 years now since I picked him up. We've traveled, moved, and he's my "first born" :) He has since been joined by his human brother, who's also well aware about animal behavior. My philosophy is that all the creatures need freedom and love, but with firm boundaries. We go outside to play and sniff as much as possible or appropriate. There is also down time when needed. If I need to gently but firmly discipline them to discourage bad behavior, I know how to do that. There's a lot of love and attention that your babies will get in my home and I can't wait to meet them!

Came through last minute to help me out, took great care of my cat and dog. Highly recommend. Sent pics, made sure both were fully cared for.
Dina is very caring and attentive. She and her husband have been great with my dog and some scheduling changes we had. Their dog is very sweet and getting along well with the guest dogs. I strongly recommend her.

Dina is terrific with dogs. I saw her take care of a tiny baby chihuahua for a day- it was so clear she's in love with animals and takes very tender care of them.

Schedule
My schedule pretty flexible as I primarily stay home with my young child or freelance. We like to have a pretty regular routine, but do have an outing here or there, often with the pups.

Safety, trust & environment
I cater to each dog. I have the friendliest dog of my own to hang with yours so I'm well versed in dog care. We love walks and hikes and hangs, either at home or backyard or beach! If a crate is required that's not a problem. I like to casually supervise them while letting them play and run around if close supervision isn't necessary.
Pets
A typical day
I've traveled quite a bit with my pup, but I follow a routine with him that I follow with most pets - breakfast & walk in the morning. Then it's usually a nap for him or possibly some play while I work, do chores or errands. Then cuddles or quick play. An afternoon walk with some training squeezed casually throughout the day. Benny gets some free time with plenty of toys available. Then dinner around 6-7pm with another walk followed a bit after and a final quick outing to pee. Depending on the day, he may get some treats, enrichment or whatever. With other's dogs it's a shorter version, but I always make sure they get attention.
