I am currently in town for the next 2 months due to my full time job on hiatus. I am fully available and pretty flexible. If my service area doesn’t cover you please send me a message rates can be adjusted to include travel further.

Safely is my top priority with dogs. Keeping a dog safe with a new person is so important. Deleting on what the dog is accustomed to i use Leashes and slip leads , Ecollars, prong collars whatever the client wants and what works best to get the dogs and clients needs met. Can take the dog out by the house or out to a lake for swimming and ball throwing. I am very aware of my environment to keep the dog safe from others and feel a private area is best for dogs while under my care. I have a even tempered 2 year old playful dogs as well that may join the adventure once I feel comfortable with your dogs and them knowing me.

Love to know about how the owners train & the behaviors the dog has so I can allow them to have the best time in the safest way. No matter what I’ll always take the time to learn and connect with the dog and keep boundaries clear.

Day care will be accepted only based on previous walk bookings so i am aware of your dogs needs and get to know them first. Depending on the time requested and the dogs preference can be a simple casual walk around the block or a good hike with lots of pond crossings. cooling down in the river is always great on summer. I will always take the dogs to a safe area where they don’t have to worry about unwanted dogs and any interactions ending in a bad time. Busy dog parks arnt my choice for your dog and prefer to focus on their time.

I’ve grown up haveing all types of dogs and animals dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, ferrets. I love all types of animals and really enjoy working with dogs. I have worked with dogs rescues in Los Angeles and foster a lot of dogs from all ages. I have worked training a lot of dogs for not pulling on leashes to being fully off leash dogs. I am safe with reactive dogs and specialize in strong breeds. Keeping dogs safe and allowing them to make good choices is my top priority. I have trained with top trainers with my own dogs and work with balanced dog practices. Structures and rules lead to Great dogs and treats along the way. Learning what makes each dog tick and connections are so important. Each dog is so special and giving them the world even if it’s just one pee break and a cuddle is the best feeling.

Dillon was is just what we have been hoping to find in a caregiver for our cautious and smart Border collie, Spud. He is the one who she will be caring for on future visits so she has been given him time to decide if he likes her. We are very pleased how she has not rushed him, but is giving him just enough attention to let him know that she is a friend. We are happy with the results she is having with our very cautious, fearful dog. He generally barks and backs off from anyone who he does not know, but we can see that he is already beginning to warm up to Dillon. We are very pleased with the progress so far. Thank you Dillon!
Dillon met our dog Spud: Our 7 year old Border Collie Spud has one big personality issue, he will not get close to anyone he doesn't know. Because of his shy nature it makes it difficult to find a pet sitter for him. After reading Dillon's Rover profile it sounded like she might be a good fit to work with and care for our Spud. We booked a meeting and a quiet walk for Spud and Dillon's first short outdoor visit. Gotta say, Dillon had Spud eating out of her hand in no time! She knew not to rush him, and understood that he needed more time to trust someone he didn't know. We have a good feeling that Dillon is going to be Spud's new buddy and caregiver. Thanks Dillon for understanding and wanting to take the time to know Spud.
Dillon was amazing with our girls. Not only did she send photos and updates but she took them on several adventures while we were away. We arrived home to a clean home and two very happy dogs. I will absolutely be reaching out in the future next time we head out of town!
Dillon seems to be a dog person by nature—intuitive with my Australian Shepherd and clearly knowledgeable about training and working with dogs with reactive traits. I am so happy to have found her and feel great about working together in the future.
